Product Description
BAF #72914 #08. CYLINDER INVERTER
17 October 2022
1.0 Description. The Contractor shall provide the 402 CMXG/MXDEE office at Robins AFB Georgia with one (1) an automatic Cylinder Inverter. The automatic Cylinder Inverter is used to drain and dry heavy, water filled cylinders after the hydrostatic test.
1.1 The automatic Cylinder Inverter is used to drain and dry heavy, water filled cylinders after the hydrostatic test. In addition:
1.1.1 The unit must accept two cylinders with diameters up to 12 inches.
1.1.2 The unit must be capable of firmly grasping a pair of cylinders and inverting them a full 180 degrees from upright.
1.1.3 The unit must then be capable of injecting a stream of air into each cylinder in order to rapidly dry the interior.
1.2 Specifications must meet the following parameters:
1.2.1 1Cylinder Capacity: Two cylinders, 400 lbs ea., 5" to 12" in dia., up to 58" tall, or one cylinder up to 15" in diameter
1.2.2 Operating Air Requirements: 1.0 cfm @ 120 psig
1.2.3 Drying Air Requirements: 7.5 cfm @ 120 psig
1.2.4 Electrical Requirements: 120 Volt, 60 Hertz
1.2.5 Hot Water Required: 10.0 gpm @ 60 psig, 180°F ma
1.3 Delivery. FOB Destination. The contractor shall deliver all items within 8 weeks after receiving the award.
1.4 Incidental Services. None. No installation services will be required.

4.1 Affirmative Procurement Programs (APP).
4.1.1 In accordance with FAR 23.404(b)(1), 100% of purchases of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-designated products included in the Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) list [https://www.epa.gov/smm/comprehensive-procurement-guideline-cpg-program] and/or United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-designated products included in the bio-based product listings [http://www.biopreferred.gov] shall, at a minimum, meet the EPA or USDA standards for recovered materials or bio-based content, respectively, unless an item cannot be acquired competitively within a realistic timeframe, meet appropriate performance standards, and/or be acquired at a reasonable price.
4.2 In accordance with FAR 23.404(a)(iii), the Contractor shall provide estimates and verification of recovered material for EPA-designated CPG products and certification for both EPA-designated CPG products and USDA-designated bio-based products. In accordance with the Robins Air Force Base, Georgia / Green Procurement Program (GPP) Plan, the Contractor shall provide estimates and certifications to the Government for completion of the applicable attachment(s) to be included in the Purchase Request (PR) package.
