Summary of Changes This Amendment answers vendor's questions:

Q#1: RFC1, Work Item 21: Para. 3.4 does not specify the quantity/extent of piping to be renewed. Will USG clarify how much piping shall be renewed and how far into the below berthing area the renewal shall be performed?

A#1: 9' piping renewed on main deck and 3' into the below berthing area.

Q#2: RFC2, Work Item 16: Due to conditions observed at ship check, will USG confirm that any repairs necessary to conduct the specified weight test will be authorized via Change Request Authorization?

A#2: Confirm, system is not operational therefore cannot be op-tested until repaired.

Q#3: RFC3, Work Item 23: Para. 3.3 directs KTR to renew piping, flanges and hardware. Is KTR required to replace valves?

A#3: Confirm KTR is required to replace valves.

Q#4: RFC4, Work Item 23: Table 1 directs replacement of the handwheel for the stbd riser. Is the handwheel the only component that requires replacement for the port or stbd lube oil risers?

A#4: No, the deck connection riser must be cropped and renewed, and valve replaced.

Q#5: RFC5, Work Item 23: Regarding Para. 3.3, is KTR required to renew the entire gooseneck, including the bell?

A#5: Confirm

Q#6: RFC7, Work Item 24: Para 3.2.1 requires KTR to renew structural supports for the port and stbd hawse pipes using 625-WMEC-186-005 Section 4-A as guidance. Will USG confirm this only includes the chain stopper foundation found in Section 4-A (DWG find D9)?

A#6: Yes, KTR can access the mast using approved climbing harness.

Q#7: From Our Spec 3.2.1 "The Contractor must crop and renew degraded structural support for the port and starboard Hawse pipes as designated by the Coast Guard Inspector using Coast Guard Drawing 625 WMEC 186-005 Section 4-A as guidance."

A#7: Yes, this only includes Chain Stopper Foundation, if additional work is noted we can capture with NCWR, CFR, and CR time permitting.
