About this file

This document contains responses to questions regarding an amendment to a solicitation for drydock repairs of the CGC ALERT. The solicitation requests drydocking of the vessel from June 9 to June 22, 2021 to perform specified rudder repairs and sea trials. While seven day work weeks and an extended period of performance to eighteen working days were requested, the Coast Guard declined both requests and will not revise the start date. The earliest available drydock slot is June 19, which was also declined. The solicitation number is 70Z080-21-Q-P45C3200 and is issued by the Department of Homeland Security United States Coast Guard for drydocking of the CGC ALERT from June 9 to June 22, 2021. Repairs are to be performed at the drydock facility.
