Q: Are there four DAS's?
A: Yes, there are four. We made a mistake.
Q: Is USCG providing cellular modems and SIM cards?
A: Yes, USCG is installing cell modems with USCG personnel. We envision two DAS's will upload through one cell modem using an internet switch. Additionally, we expect some modems may be physically relocated to another building on base, so that the signal strength to the modhoppers increases. It is anticipated that two DAS's will share one modem, and the other two DAS's will have a dedicated modem.
Q: There are two kinds of modhoppers on base; model numbers 9120-3 and 9120-5. The two models don't talk to each other, do you want the 9120-3 models replaced w/the 9120-5?
A: Yes, please replace all 9120-3 modhoppers.
Q: Should I be prepared to replace electric meters (current transformers) in main distribution panels, transformers, or switchgear?
A: Yes. If it is found during the troubleshooting process that an advanced electric meter (current transformer) failed, then we expect it to be replaced with a functional advanced electric meter.
Q: How many service visits and what is the scope for the optional annual service?
A: We plan on one annual service visit, which will replace up to 10% of equipment installed.
Q: How do we contact Dominion Energy to determine pricing needed for a pulse output from the main (gate) electric feed to Base Portsmouth?
A: See attached e-mail.
Q: How do we contact Columbia Gas to determine pricing needed for a pulse output from their gas meters?
A: See attached e-mail.
