NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Purchase Order to Data-Link Associates, Inc.
Pursuant to FAR 13.106-(1)(b)(1), the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Data-Link Associates, Inc for a Mobile Isle Storage System.
The service benefits provided by Data-Link Associates, Inc to the Agency are described below.
The John J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) Supply Section provides support of this training effort through the provisioning of 700 students and staff with uniforms and supplies. A mobile aisle storage system is required to maximize the minimal storage space in the RTC Supply Building. The intended acquisition strategy is the one-time award for a mobile aisle supply storage system through Data-Link Associates, Inc., 1145 N. State Parkway, Suite 1701, Chicago, IL 60610.
The USSS JJRTC Supply operation has a critical need for a storage system to support a variety of uniforms, supplies, and accountable property. In an effort to maximize design efficiency and flexibility, this desired storage rack system is of modular design, allowing user-level re-configuration to enable secure storage of evolving/changing varieties of supplies and equipment used in the training environment.
The purpose of this procurement action is to obtain a mobile aisle storage system for the RTC Supply Building that matches the design of the current weapon storage rack system currently in use by all RTC sections/components responsible for the secure storage of weapons in both training and operational environments.
This system must consist of:
