Q1. We do not have the meeting capacity but can assist with overflow accommodations if that is under consideration?

A1. No, please see Section 2.2.1 on page 18 of the RFQ.

Q2. “Pursuant to DHS Financial Management Policy Manual, quotation submissions from third party vendors are not eligible for award.” I am unsure of why DHS won’t accept quotations from companies like Qii Solutions. We hold the same NAICS Code as hotels. If Qii Solutions submits a quote, will we be considered for award?

A2. No, please see paragraph four on page one of the RFQ.

Q3. Please let me know if you must have per diem for your August room block. The best rate we can offer is $209 over your preferred dates.

A3. No, please see Section 2.1 Task One on page 17 of the RFQ.

Q4.I see the group requires the General Session room beginning at 9AM on Tuesday 8/29 but does not have any contracted Monday night rooms, do you anticipate needing any since the room is required so early Tuesday?

A4. Please see revised Section 2.1 Task One on page 17 of the RFQ.

Q5. Are the dates flexible by any chance? Could they arrive Monday instead of the Tuesday?

A5. See response A4.

Q6. Are you looking to provide any food & beverage for the event or will attendees be on their own?

A6. No, food or beverages will be provided for the event.

Q7. Is there any budget devoted for room rental for the space?

A7. Yes
