Questions Received for 380 TT’s – Solicitation #70FB8022R00000024

1. Is FEMA would be willing to consider units that are 21' box size and overall length of 23' 8" because it doesn't get to the 25' and the 200 SQ Foot measurement?

a. No. Any travel trailers proposed must meet all requirements of the SOW and the solicitation.

2. Also are you willing to include units that don't have an enclosed underbelly?

a. No. Any travel trailers proposed must meet all requirements of the SOW and the solicitation.

3. Can a prime contractor for logistics and management work with dealers and other manufacturers of travel trailers for this contract?

a. Prime contractors must meet all requirements of the SOW and solicitation, to include dealer licensing requirements.

4. Do you want transportation on a separate CLIN 0002 or to be included with the cost of the trailer all in one CLIN 0001?

a. Pricing is requested as FOB Destination, therefore all transportation and shipping costs should be included in the unit price shown in CLIN 0001.

5. (Background: Offeror can provide 380 Stick and Tin Trailers and 380 Laminated Wall Trailers) The provided PDF expressed a preference for laminated units. Would you like me to send proposals for both, or do you a have a preference for one or the other?

a. This is an Lowest-Price Technically Acceptable solicitation, and therefore FEMA has no preference for any specific build type or feature. The SOW has been revised to state both stick and tin and laminated wall trailers are acceptable, and remove any reference to a FEMA preference. The revised SOW has been included as an attachment to this amendment.
