Q1) How is pricing intended to work?

A1) Pricing is intended to work as follows:

i) “Location-Service Call” pricing is intended to cover the cost of dispatch to a specific location and is separate from the hazardous material picked-up.

ii) “Waste Streams” pricing is intended to cover the cost to pickup and properly dispose of a specific type and amount of hazardous waste and is separate from location-service call (dispatch) pricing.

Q2) What is reimbursed by SOW paragraph 5.A.7?

A2) “Reimbursements” under SOW 5.A.7 is for the supply or replacement of hazardous waste containers per the SOW Tasks. SOW Paragraph 5.A.7 will be revised for clarity.

Q3) Is the Medical Waste stream; DOT class 6.2 infectious material or DOT class 6.1 pharmaceutical waste?

A3) The Medical Waste stream is medical sharps only. The SOW entry will be revised for clarity.

Q4) If waste is not on the current Waste Stream list, how is that handled?

A4) From the “Scope”:

i) “The Contractor will provide waste management options for each waste stream in accordance with their permit conditions. For waste steams outside the Contractor’s permit limits, the Contractor shall assist CBP in identifying appropriate alternative waste disposal options.”

Q5) Where can prior contracts and pricing be researched?

A5) HSBP1013D00013 and associated delivery orders can be researched at https://www.fpds.gov or https://www.usaspending.gov.
