QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
The following questions pertaining to this solicitation was asked and the government is providing the answers with the understanding that there will be no other available time for additional questions. The incumbent for the past several years is Bay Disposal, LLC.
(1) One 30 cubic yard wheeled container for trash (labeled for trash or no label) -Trash pickup on an on-call basis -Provide weight tickets for all pickups upon invoice. -
Container to be free of holes that allow easy access to pest/animals –
Question: A 30yd container is not standard – they are open tops. Can you clarify? Also, can you advise on how many times a year do you expect to have dumpster picked up and do you have a tonnage history?
Answer: We currently utilize a 30-cubic yard uncovered dumpster. May average 1 pick-up per month, dependent on work. Average tonnage per pick up between 1-3 tons solid waste.
(2) One 30 cubic yard container for steel -Steel pickup on an on-call basis - Provide weight tickets for all pickups upon invoice - Delivery of steel to: Sims Metal 2116

Question: Can you advise how many times a year do you expect to have dumpster picked up?
Also do you currently have an account set up with Sims Metal where they reimburse you directly for metal sales?
Answer: Average about 1 pickup per month. We have an account setup with Sims for reimbursement.
