uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government¿s requirements. This is to provide access to STN

International (hereafter STN) for one year (with an option for an additional year). STN includes content created and curated by the Chemical

Abstracts Service (CAS), a division of the

American Chemical Society (ACS). Among the CAS databases are the CAS Registry, CAplus

(originally Chemical Abstracts), the TSCA

Chemical Substances Inventory (maintained by CAS under contract with EPA), and other chemical and scientific databases.

Searches can be conducted using either a web browser or various iterations of CAS-provided software specifically designed to search STN databases.

These services are required so that EPA staff in the New Chemicals Program can determine the chemical identities for chemicals submitted under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and for data on chemicals for other purposes (including risk assessment and evaluation).

Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA¿s requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, by
