The bid is for 1,200 packs of dish towels to be delivered on 10/20/2025, with an opening date of August 26th, 2025, at 2:30 PM ET. The addendum includes responses to vendor questions submitted by August 19th, 2025, addressing details such as pack quantities per container (currently 20 packs) and delivery expectations, with the state expecting delivery within thirty consecutive calendar days after receipt of order.

QUESTION ANSWER

Do you want multiple packs in each case (carton) or do you want just one (1) pack per case?

Currently there are 20 packs per container.

What is the maximum flexibility on the delivery time for the first order, and would you allow 60 calendar days lead time on the first PO with subsequent orders meeting the 30 days delivery time as requested?

Per Section 4.5, NCDAC expects the successful vendor shall complete delivery within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days ARO. Promptness of delivery may be used as a factor in the award criteria.

Submit your company’s response to Section 4.5 with the delivery time being offered, notating what the initial delivery time will be ARO, and what the delivery time for consecutive deliveries will be ARO.

Is Unit Price (Per Pack): $39.989 the initial bid winning or the last price state paid for the unit?

Yes, $39.989 was the awarded price of the initial bid and the last price paid per pack.

What was the last cost the state of NC paid for Dish Towels?

$39.989 per pack

When does the state of NC expect to need the first delivery?

1,200 Packs to be delivered on 10/20/2025

Please provide a product image?

Are we to include tariffs as of the Bid opening date? Or no tariffs at all and they will be shown and added when invoicing the state?

Only permanent tariffs are to be included in the bid pricing. Temporary tariff surcharges are currently being reviewed on an individual basis. Any proposed temporary tariffs surcharge should not be included in your bid pricing.

If a temporary tariff surcharge is implemented, any tariff surcharge associated with purchases shall be provided by way of a percentage tariff surcharge. The vendor needs to present temporary tariff surcharge implications specific to related commodities with evidence of submitted documentation of effected MSRP products in a formal notice to the Contact Lead for review.

Any temporary surcharge will be reviewed and must be mutually agreed upon by both parties. Mutually agreed upon tariff surcharges shall be added to the Purchase Order as a separate line item.

Will there be a Statewide eProcurement Service fee of 1.75% on all POs on this current bid?

Reference Section 2.2 E-PROCUREMENT FEE:

This is an NC eProcurement solicitation facilitated by the Ariba Network. The E-Procurement fee may apply to this solicitation. See paragraph entitled ELECTRONIC PROCUREMENT of the North Carolina General Terms and Conditions. General information on the E-Procurement Services can be found at: http://eprocurement.nc.gov/.
