About this file

This special notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole source an acquisition from Standard Imaging. Specifically, the VA Iliana Healthcare System requires two Standard Imaging electrometers paired with existing ionization chambers for radiation dose readings. The electrometers would replace end-of-life equipment over 12 and 16 years old. The notice also requires a virtual water phantom package from Standard Imaging to accurately measure therapeutic and diagnostic energies within 0.5%. The total cost is $35,724.60. Responses showing competition would benefit the government are due no later than February 15, 2024 via email to the listed contract specialist. The notice states electrometers from other vendors cannot be used with the current ionization chambers and would disrupt patient care.
