Business Intelligence Consultant, Senior

Functional Responsibilities: Provides management consulting, systems integration or systems development and in-depth knowledge of program design using standard business intelligence platforms.

Implements comprehensive end-to-end business intelligence environments. Work includes application development (including customized report content using programming languages and scripting languages), infrastructure planning and system integration activities. Participates in the design and resource allocation for large business intelligence implementations. Works closely with database modelers to create robust data source connections. Creates metadata interfaces between database structures and COTs reporting tools. Incorporates business rules identified in Project Design Descriptions into metadata presentation packages for use by Business Intelligence Consultants. Creates advanced report content and oversees the creation of report content by junior staff. Provides feedback to developer teams and senior staff. Interacts with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site application development services and support.

Business Intelligence Specialist III

Functional Responsibilities: Provides management consulting, systems integration, or systems development. Provides in-depth knowledge of program design using standard business intelligence platforms. Data Warehouse Consultant, Senior

Functional Responsibilities: Provides management consulting, systems integration or systems development. Has in-depth knowledge of program design on standard systems. Work includes application development, infrastructure planning, and system integration activities. Performs on large-scale database management systems, has knowledge of computer equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives. Analyzes and develops computer software processing a wide range of capabilities, including data warehouse technologies, business data models, data modeling for the warehouse, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), Executive Information Management, and Decision Support System. Expert knowledge of various database management systems, relational database methodologies, and data warehouse database methodologies. Manages the data warehouse metadata, the documentation of the data warehouse design, and adopting naming standards. Analyzes user interfaces, maintains hardware, software, and database performance tuning, analyzes workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyzes proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS. Provides technical direction to junior staff. Interacts with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site application development services and support.

Engagement Specialist

Functional Responsibilities: Management consulting, systems integration, or systems development.

Provides in-depth knowledge of program design on standard systems. Work includes application development, infrastructure planning, and system integration activities, including integration with existing or custom developed authentication providers. A technical consultant who can combine programming, security, database, and software package knowledge to lead technical solutions and to resolve issues. Provides feedback to the developer teams and senior staff. Interacts with clients, from management to end-users to provide application development services and support.

Maintenance Support

Functional Responsibilities: Assists senior information technology consultants with analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking;

telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis;

software; life-cycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation.

Prepares draft documentation including program and user documentation. Functions as a member of a software development team under the guidance of more experienced.

Programmer Analyst II

Functional Responsibilities: Performs routine design, coding, and documentation of application programs for computers and related equipment used for scientific or commercial projects. Under minimum supervision, analyzes, designs, codes, and documents complex applications for large-scale computers and related equipment appropriate to scientific and commercial projects. Performs technical tasks using both standard and nonstandard analysis, design, and programming methods and techniques. Determines customer requirements. Analyzes problems in relation to user requirements, input data and form, output data and form, available computer configuration, processing turnaround requirements, input and output checking, and overall problem-schedule requirements. Advises on computer requirements and limitations to help define automation needs. Develops and writes machine or other suitable source language instructions required for computer processing.

Project Manager II

Functional Responsibilities: Performs complex functional activities by providing management and technical direction to project personnel. Regularly exercise independent judgment and a high level of analytic skill in solving complex technical, administrative, and managerial problems. Provides overall direction for all project level activities. Under limited supervision, responsible for all aspects of project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial). Manages and supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizes, and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, reports on program status, and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Subject Matter Specialist II

Functional Responsibilities: Applies subject matter expertise to analyze and define problems, develop plans and requirements in the subject matter area for complex systems. Assists the management team with plans and outlines for assigned projects. Researches new writing methods, processes and tools.

Trainer

Functional Responsibilities: Develops and revises training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs. Prepares instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
