Alfresco Pega Connector

The Alfresco Pega Connector Increase application usability to foster collaborative case resolution.

• Faster application response times

• Efficient workflows

• Integrated, cohesive applications

Pega application users are constantly creating, reviewing, and editing content. As an application’s usage grows, its content volume has the potential to expand exponentially. Large quantities of files and unstructured content stored directly within Pega, however, can both slow application performance and limit collaboration between users.

As organizations accumulate content, it is important that applications maintain a consistent performance standard, and that business users have the ability to collaboratively author and edit documents directly within the enterprise solution itself. The Alfresco Pega Connector (APC) allows for just that, integrating Alfresco functionality seamlessly with any Pega application to provide the power and agility of Alfresco Content Services within a unified Pega® 8 User Interface.

The Alfresco Pega Connector supports all file types and includes the following functionality:

• Deployable Pega® 8 Ruleset

• Check-in, check-out, and version control

• Drag-and-Drop file upload and storage

• Automatic case folder creation in Alfresco

• Records Management Integration (5015.2)

• Case file deletion capability

• User access control and management

• In-browser editing capability

• Scales to manage more than one billion documents

The APC brings together the functionality of two incredibly powerful solutions. By making Alfresco’s vast management capabilities easily accessible to any Pega® 8 application, the APC allows applications to store unlimited volumes of business-critical content without slowing application performance speed.
