Acato Information Management, LLC, (Acato) is a certified Woman-Owned Small Business software company focused on delivering high-quality software products and managing project IT risks.
Founded in 2010, Acato provides a comprehensive suite of software quality services throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Our mission is to accurately assess the state of the product under test and inform stakeholders so they can make good business decisions.
Every project and every team are different. The software development methodology chosen for a project determines how testing activities fit into the SDLC. Acato brings a structured approach and customizes each to meet the customer’s business objectives, team particulars, and risk tolerance.
Acato supports a full spectrum of test activities in DevOps, Agile, Scaled Agile, and waterfall-hybrid methodologies. We build quality by establishing processes and practices throughout the development cadence. These processes identify problems that affect product functionality, integrity, usability, maintainability, and reliability early in the development process, which isolates risk and enables mitigation strategies.
Acato provides embedded testers, staff augmentation, and independent testers. Our staff is certified through recognized bodies, including the International Software Testing Quality Board (ISTQB©), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe©), and Project Management Institute (PMI).
