Information Technology Professional Services – SIN 54151S

Experience and Education Equivalency/Substitutions:

A Bachelor’s Degree is equivalent to a High School Diploma + 4 years of additional experience.

A Master’s is equivalent to a Bachelor’ Degree + 2 additional years of experience.

A Doctorate is equivalent to a Masters + 6 additional years of experience.

Senior SharePoint Consultant, Level 1 Minimum General Experience: 7 years of experience in IT consulting, development/deployment, network operations and/or software support is required including 2 years of specific experience using SharePoint and/or .NET. Experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script are preferred. Experience with development frameworks (i.e., SCRUM/Agile) and development technologies, including architecting and implementing quality software code leveraging the latest Microsoft, open-source technologies, and/or cloud technologies is preferred.

Functional Responsibility: Serves as a SharePoint expert on project/program staff.

Experience successfully performing software development, implementation, and application support; and configuring and installing software products is required.

Functional Responsibility: Develops software applications; provides enhancements, performance tuning, and defect fixes; and evaluates and recommends available software and database management system products to support validated user requirements. May supports the adoption of an agile methodology such as Scrum. Defines file organization, indexing methods and security procedures for specific user applications; designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation; reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques; and formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.

IT Support Consultant, Level 1 Minimum General Experience: 7 years of experience in the field of IT is required including 5 years of specific experience providing broad-based IT support and guidance to project/program staff and client representatives is required.

Functional Responsibility: Provides first level technical support to project/program staff and clients. Primarily responsible for learning systems, consulting about new and existing services and technologies available, and providing day-to-day IT support. Stays abreast of IT trends and new technologies, case studies, roadblocks, and outstanding incidents. Effectively communicates technical issues and makes recommendations for solutions and enhancements.

Provides support for a wide variety of systems, applications, and networks that may include, but are not limited to TCP/IP Networking Protocols and Procedures; Windows Workstations;

Operating Systems, Microsoft Office products, and etc. Demonstrates an ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers. As needed, installs and troubleshoots problems on WinXP, Windows7, Win2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, etc. Demonstrates end-user and help desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common desktop applications. Applies analytical and research skills to help the project/program team and the client determine the best alternatives for resolving IT issues and achieving optimal functionality.

IT Specialist, Level 1 Minimum General Experience: 4 years of experience working in an IT-oriented environment is including 2 years of specific experience performing entry to mid-level engineering tasks is required. Experience and knowledge of core Internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc. is required. Experience with Microsoft Windows and other server environments is required.

Experience involving installations and configuration is required. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is required. Experience with SharePoint 2010, Word Press, Bootstrap, Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Visual Basic, and C# is preferred.

Functional Responsibility: Performs a broad range of IT tasks under the supervision of a lead/senior IT specialist/engineer. Performs and supports advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting activities to maintain optimum IT system operations.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to providing maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management of Internet Protocol (IP) network, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and routing protocols; setting up workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals; and providing associated onsite end-user support.

Systems Engineer, Level 1 Minimum General Experience: 4 years of experience working in an IT-oriented environment is required including 2 year of specific experience performing entry-level engineering tasks.

Functional Responsibility: Supports application or system engineering tasks under the supervision of a lead/senior engineer. Serves in a supporting role on engineering projects/programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Supports the evaluation of alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Duties may include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance. Participates in the system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts under the supervision and/or guidance of a more senior engineer. Participates in design reviews of components to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements though compliance verification and validation. Sr. Administration Support, Level 1 Minimum General Experience: 6 years of experience providing administrative support, including 4 years of specific experience providing administrative and general support of IT projects/programs of various sizes.

Functional Responsibility: Provides administrative assistance to IT project/program managers, as well as supporting staffing. Supports the compilation and development of status reports including assignments, data calls, and meetings. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to providing desktop publishing support; assisting in the development of reports and presentations; providing meeting/conference planning support; maintaining adequate levels of supplies; maintain project/program related files and documentation; tracking staff and deliverable schedules; and performing general clerical duties (e.g., answer telephones, relaying messages, coordinating logistics), as assigned. May provide ad hoc support of the project/program quality assurance program. May support human resource function to include, but not limited to tasks related to the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees.

Minimum Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, information systems, or a related field is required. Years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Program Analyst, Level 2 Minimum General Experience: 3 years of IT-related analyses experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and developing data reports is required. Demonstrated knowledge of functionality and subject matter (e.g., health behavior theory, design, and evaluation; project management; financial management; research data collection, and analysis techniques) related to the IT project/program at-hand is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or other client-preferred software or desktop publishing applications is required.

Experience working with large datasets and/or SQL knowledge is preferred.

Functional Responsibility: Provides all aspects of program/project management for IT initiatives.

Primary responsibility is to ensure that IT solutions and services meet contract requirements and client expectations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to accomplishing program/project human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and supervising employees; communicating project/program and job expectations;

planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing project/program contributions; enforcing project/program related standard operating procedures; and leading project/program staff to achieve client expectations and project/program objectives.
