General experience includes increasing responsibilities in software engineering activities.

Knowledgeable of applicable standards. With a Master's degree (in the fields described above): four years general experience of which at least two years must be specialized experience is required. With eight years of general experience of which at least six years must be specialized experience, a degree is not required.

Functional Responsibility: Analyzes and studies complex system requirements, including Internet, client/server and mainframe. Designs software and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
