Survey network requirements of remote customer offices and campus buildings.

Define equipment, cables, adapters and configurations needed to upgrade buildings and sites to established standard. Analyze current network configurations and determine implementation requirements. Negotiate installation date/time with customer and engage field installation contractors.

Prepare network equipment for deployment by loading appropriate software and configuration setting according to pre-engineered design templates.

Oversight of network to include performing network maintenance and monitoring; must have superior knowledge of LAN, CAN, WAN and Cisco products.

Work with DB Manager and System Engineer to ensure infrastructure needs are met.

Work with System Engineer to managed anti-virus, helpdesk service, inventory management, network/server performance and firewall/network security.

Work with Security vendor for annual security assessment and remediation.

• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.

• Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software and related documentation.

• Regulates the change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.

• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software, and reports changes and current configuration.

Management (CM) discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. This individual will be part of a team, taking direction from the Senior/Lead Configuration Manager and providing guidance to junior team members.

• Provide project management support and creation/maintenance of project status reports.

• Participate in all aspects of software implementation including requirements definition, design, configuration, development, testing, installation, end-user training, and go-live support.

• Work directly with customers to define complex system integration requirements and to design and build the defined solutions.

• The candidate's overall focus will be to support the Quality Assurance (QA) and CM team by identifying ways to fully utilize the CM system capabilities.

• Develop and implement the CM processes and procedures, tracking of CM tasks and action items, management of the change repository, and preparing and coordinating CM correspondence and documentation.

• Develop and maintain CM policy, plan, charters, processes, and procedures.

• Review CM plans for compliance.

• Provide configuration accounting in support of change management activities and facilitate/participate in applicable IPTs and Control Board.
