2. MAXIMUM ORDERS

The maximum order limit f or this contract is $200,000. Customers may place task orders above this level in accordance with FAR 8.404. Orders above this threshold are considered contract orders.

*Ordering activities may request a price reduction at any time before placing an order, establishing a BPA, or in conjunction with the annual BPA review. However, the ordering activity shall seek a price reduction when the order or BPA exceeds the simplified acquisition threshold. Schedule contractors are not required to pass on to all schedule users a price reduction extended only to an individual ordering activity f or a specific ic order or

BPA.

Labor Category (Job Title): Guard I

Responsibilities: Carries out instructions primarily oriented toward ensuring that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered and reported to the appropriate authority. Intervenes directly only in situations which require minimal action to saf eguard property or persons. Duties require minimal training above state requirements.

Minimum Experience: Three years security experience within the past f ive years, or an

Associate’s Degree.

Education: High school dip loma or a GED equivalency certif icate.

Hourly Rate: Standard: $49.35

Labor Category (Job Title): Guard II

Responsibilities: Enf orces regulations designed to prevent breaches of security. Exercises judgment and uses discretion in dealing with, whether f irst response should be to intervene directly (asking f or assistance when deemed necessary and time allows), to keep situation under surveillance, or to report situation so that it can be handled by appropriate authorit y. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting personnel and security areas. Must demonstrate continuing physical f itness and prof iciency with f irearms or other special weapons.

Minimum Experience: Three years previous law enf orcement experience, military or National

Guard (active duty or reserve) experience, or one-year law enf orcement experience and an Associate’s Degree.

Division. Perf orms unannounced site visits and prepares reports of such f or headquarters. Responsible f or of ficers’ compliance with laws regarding licenses and permits.

Minimum Experience: Five years previous law enf orcement experience, military or National Guard

(active duty or reserve) experience, or three years law enf orcement experience and an Associate’s Degree.

Education: High school diploma or a GED equivalency certif icate.

Labor Category (Job Title): Alarm Monitor

Responsibilities: Operates communication equipment to receive incoming calls f or assistance and dispatches personnel and equipment to scene of emergency. Operates telephone console to receive incoming calls f or assistance. Questions caller to determine nature of problem and type and numb er of personnel and equipment needed, f ollowing established guidelines. Scans status charts and computer screen to determine units available. Monitors alarm system signals that indicate location of f ire or other emergency. Op erates two-way radio to dispatch police, f ire, medical, and other personnel and equipment and to relay instructions or inf ormation to remove units. Types commands on computer keyboard to update f iles and maintain logs. Tests communicatio ns and alarm equipment and backup systems to ensure serviceability. May provide pre-arrival instructions to caller, utilizing knowledge of emergency medical techniques. May activate alarm system to notif y f ire stations.

Minimum Experience: 2 years of security, law enf orcement, or military experience

Labor Category (Job Title): Detention Of f icer

Responsibilities: Perf orms various duties related to detention, saf eg uarding, security and escort of violators of immig ration laws. Exercises surveillance over detainees, and maintains order and discipline. Attends to sheltering, f eeding, and physical well being of detainees; and counseling of alien detainees on personal matters. Guards detainees at deportation or exclusio n hearings. Recognizes potentially hazardous health, saf ety, security, or discipline problems.

Supervises voluntary work details, and encourages participation in organized recreational activities.

Minimum Experience: One of the f ollowing:

• 1 year of detention, corrections, security, law enf orcement, or military service

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice

Labor Category (Job Title): Corrections Of f icer

Responsibilities: Maintains order among inmates in a prison or local jail, perf orms routine duties in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures to guard and supervise inmates in cells, at meals, during recreation, and on work assignments, and may employ weapons or f orce to maintain discipline and order. Typical duties include: taking periodic inmate counts, searching inmates and cells f or contraband articles, inspecting locks, windows bars, grills, doors, and grates f or tampering, aiding in prevention of escapes and taking part in searches f or escaped inmates, and escorting inmates to and f rom dif f erent areas f or questioning, medical treatment, work and meals. The Corrections Of f icer may act as outside wall guard, usually on rotation.

Minimum Experience: One of the f ollowing:
