LEADERSHIP
Our staff primarily comprises U.S.
Military Veterans who desire to take the work ethic and life experiences gained in their service for our country and apply them in the service contracting industry. Rory Carter, President of STA, served in the U.S.
Marine Corps for six years and was deployed to theater in Haditha and Haqlaniyah, Iraq. He served as a decorated infantry squad leader and later completed Scout Sniper Training, joining one of the US Marine Corp’s most elite groups.
Rory led and trained Marines to perform their duties at the highest level and has taken these same skillsets and applied them to supporting his clients. In addition, Rory graduated from Auburn University’s School of Architecture, Design and Construction, further sharpening his skills in project management and business practices.

Electrician, Maintenance*
Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and reliability of electrical systems within a facility. Unlike electricians, who work predominantly on new installations, maintenance electricians focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing existing electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair or replacement. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using test equipment, such as multimeters or oscilloscopes, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment and components, including circuit breakers, transformers, switches, motors, and lighting fixtures. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and tightening connections or replacing worn parts, to ensure the longevity and functionality of electrical systems. The dispatcher is responsible for dispatching vehicles and/or scheduling maintenance technicians; receiving and scheduling service calls with customers; completing various manpower planning to meet requirements;
coordinating monthly service contract inspections (if appropriate); functioning as a liaison between the field and headquarters; entering accurate information into the on-line system; and knowledgeably assisting customers regarding company service and information.
