Service Contract Labor Standards: The Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) are applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire Consolidated MAS Schedule and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCLS due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101, 22.1102 and 29 CRF 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCLS eligible labor categories. If and / or when the contractor adds SCLS labor categories / employees to the contract through the modification process, the contractor must inform the Contracting Officer and establish a SCLS matrix identifying the GSA labor category titles, the occupational code, SCLS labor category titles and the applicable WD number. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the contract.

Labor Category Descriptions

LabWare Certified Associate Consultant Functional Responsibilities: Responsible for system implementation services including configuration development, report development, master data loading and maintenance, and template configuration (LIMS and/or ELN). An Associate Consultant must work under the direction and mentorship of LabWare Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant or Consultant assigned to the project. Travel and living expenses are not included in this price and will be invoiced separately. All LabWare Consultants must pass an extensive training program and exam to become a certified LabWare consultant.

Minimum Education: Bachelors Minimum Relevant Experience: 2 years

LabWare Certified Consultant Functional Responsibilities: Responsible for system implementation consulting including requirements clarification and resolution, system configuration development and prototyping, and report development. Travel and living expenses are not included in this price and will be invoiced separately. All LabWare Consultants must pass an extensive training program and exam to become a certified LabWare consultant.

Minimum Education: Bachelors Minimum Relevant Experience: 3 years

LabWare Certified Principal Consultant Functional Responsibilities: Responsible for system strategy and business model consulting including workflow interpretation and system design, user interface modeling, system configuration development and prototyping, and template design (LIMS and/or ELN). All LabWare Consultants must pass an extensive training program and exam to become a certified LabWare consultant.

Description of Course Any LabWare LIMS Training course, or combination of training courses, of up to 5 days in duration.

Customer is responsible for providing a secure training facility for the class or electing to have an online Webex/Microsoft Teams class hosted by the contractor. Class can accommodate up to 8 attendees.

Additional attendees above 8, will be charged an additional $2,500 per attendee. No more than 10 attendees will be permitted.

Description of Course The LIMS Administration training course is a week-long training program that is an introduction to LabWare LIMS and its out-of-the-box functionality. At a minimum, the user(s) that are to be designated as System Administrators should attend this training. At the successful completion of the training attendees will receive a certificate of completion. This multi-customer course is provided by LabWare either at LabWare’s training facility or online via Webex/ Microsoft Teams.

Description of Course The purpose of this course is to ensure system administrators and named contacts have the understanding required to troubleshoot and maintain their live Production system in the long term.

Students who pass the assessment will be certified LabWare System Administrators. Certification is valid for two years. Certified Administrators can renew their certification by attending an advanced training course or a LabWare Customer Education Conference. This multi-customer course is provided by LabWare either at LabWare’s training facility or online via Webex/ Microsoft Teams.
