AV Project Manager

Manages AV projects in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and budget. Provides leadership and directs the AV Team throughout the project life cycle, from site survey, design, installation, and testing. Supervises staff operations while serving as the customer, teaming partner, and vendor point of contact. Translates architectural and engineering drawings for installation personnel to ensure engineering design specifications and system protocols are followed. Possesses knowledge of construction and engineering principles related to AV installation. Requires five (5) years relevant experience and/or education in AV systems analysis and planning.

Bachelors

Design Engineer

Uses knowledge in engineering, networking, and hardware/software capabilities to design AV systems for facilities including conference rooms, training facilities, command centers, auditoriums, and network operations centers. Skilled in designing systems requiring components such as interactive displays, distributed audio systems, control systems, distribution amps, scalers, smart boards, video conferencing hardware, pixel mapping, custom Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs), User Experience (UX) design, video walls, switching hardware, audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) setup and calibration, or video matrixes.

Proficient in control system programming languages such as Extron, Python, and if-then macros.

Controls System Programmer

Provides control system design and programming and system automation for AV components such as touch panels, Extron, Atlona, Kramer, and Symetrix components. Has a thorough understanding of if/then statement control language. Interprets schematics, line drawings, and architectural drawings. May troubleshoot integrated systems utilizing RS232, RS485, Infrared (IR), contact closure, voltage controllers, Internet Protocol (IP), serial, and General-Purpose Input / Output (GPIO). To comply with warranty requirements, a manufacturer/industry certification may be required.

Installation Technician**

Interprets drawings, diagrams, specifications, and schematics and installs AV systems in accordance with project specifications. Tasks include hardware configuration and mounting, cable installation, device and control panel wiring, programming, testing, and troubleshooting.

Field Service Technician**

Assists in the installation, testing integration, maintenance, and repair of AV equipment.
