Facilities Management Project Manager: The Facilities Management Project Manager serves as initial point of contact for all project services and is ultimately responsible for the final installation product including providing all financial requirements required by the project. Ensures all company, client and project policies/procedures are adhered to as specified; generates estimates; prepares and reviews project proposal, work plan, funding limitations, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project; oversees the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure project is built in accordance with design, budget, and schedule; and interfaces with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met. Plans, coordinates, and manages activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s) and generates billings and leads the collections process for projects.
Minimum Education: High School Minimum Years of Experience: 8 Required Licenses/ Certifications: None
Facilities Management Foreman Electrician: The Facilities Management Foreman Electrician plans and supervises activities including determining method of construction, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and work schedule. Trains and manages other field staff. Manages the day-to-day activities of the construction operation, including safety requirements. Resolves site problems, communicates with subcontractors, assures quality standards meet contract requirements, and performs project close-out and punch list creation. Oversees all electrical installations and has been provided supervisory training, safety training and advanced electrical skills beyond completing a five year registered apprenticeship program.
Minimum Education: High School Minimum Years of Experience: 7 Required Licenses/ Certifications: IBEW NJATC Apprenticeship, Electrical Journeyman Certification
Facilities Management Journeyman Electrician: The Facilities Management Journeyman Electrician services and installs electrical systems and equipment, repairs and maintains systems of all types in a client’s facility, diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctioning systems, and determines the best course of action for repairs to include Controls, Critical power such as generators and UPS systems, Structured cabling and Data communications, and Integrated Systems such as Security, Surveillance, and Access Controls. Installs all systems in accordance with the NEC and any applicable standards and specifications, making frequent technical decisions based on specifications and electrical codes.
Manages, trains, and develops any personnel under his or her supervision. Has completed an apprenticeship made up of 5 years of classroom study and over 8000 hours on the job training and is capable of performing all aspects of the electrical profession.

Facilities Management Apprentice Electrician: The Facilities Management Apprentice Electrician works under the Facilities Management Journeyman or Foreman Electrician by assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Performs some specialized machine operations. Is enrolled in a five year registered apprenticeship program and can perform certain electrical duties with no supervision and will provide support for electrical installations working with a Facilities Management Journeyman Electrician when required.

Smart Buildings Application Engineer: The Smart Buildings Application Engineer performs the configuration, programming and commissioning of smart building electrical systems and technology of all types in a client’s facility, diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctioning smart building systems, and determines the best course of action for repairs to include Structured cabling and Data communications, and Integrated Systems such as building automation, life safety, telecommunications, facilities management, security, energy, HVAC, lighting, building envelope, access control, power management, cabling infrastructure, video distribution, video surveillance, and wired/wireless data network systems. Configures and programs all smart building systems in accordance with the NEC and any applicable standards and specifications, making frequent technical decisions based on specifications and EIA/TIA standards. Has completed high school or equivalent degree and may have post-secondary education in Engineering or other telecommunications or Information Technology. In lieu of post-secondary education, the Application Engineer may have a minimum of two years relevant experience in system configuration; implementation alternatives; integration planning; component integration, testing and analysis; interaction with Building Operations Centers; collection/manipulation of smart building component data; configuration management and control; design-guide development; operational training and support; monitoring, reporting and managing of systems; and systems maintenance.
