About the Company:

Perimeter Security Partners, LP is a turnkey provider of physical security solutions located outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Since inception, PSP has performed a wide range of service and maintenance actions on active vehicle barriers, guard booths, electronic security systems, ID check and search area canopies, AVB control systems, and related infrastructure with its own direct labor. Growing rapidly into a provider of new and replacement physical security systems, PSP leverages the expertise of its service technicians during the start-up, testing, and customer training phases of construction while its experienced quality control managers, superintendents, and safety officers oversee construction from start to finish. In-house engineering resources allow PSP to deliver design-build construction projects, provide service technicians with outstanding reach-back support, and form the core of PSP’s product development team.

Labor Category Descriptions

Program Manager

Minimum Experience: 10 years

Functional Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate all aspects of the project processes. Oversee multiple projects, coordinate with senior executives, project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors and vendors. Manage strategic initiatives to provide greater project success on a per project level and overall success of the organization. Set short-term, medium- and long-term goals.

Monitor steps taken and progress toward achieving goals. Audit budget and costing provided by project managers and estimating. Evaluate project schedules for accuracy and any conflicts that may arise from concurrent project. Establish risk mitigation measures and report possible risk issues to company executive. Maintain and cultivate vendor and client relations. Develop and initiate safety and quality program directives for employees and subcontractors and monitor compliance.

Minimum Certifications and Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Project Manager

Minimum Experience: 3 years

Functional Responsibilities: Oversee project from start to finish. Establish cost budgets, monitor project cost and profit, negotiate and administer subcontracts, locate new subcontractors and vendors, attend job site kickoff meetings, pre-bid meetings, and conference calls. Coordinate with site superintendent to document project progress. Coordinate and communicate directly with clients and end users to confirm project compliance. Establish monthly billings statements and monitor payment progress. Monitor safety and accident prevention measures. Establish, monitor and update schedules for each project.

Senior Architect/Engineer

Minimum Experience: 8 years

Functional Responsibilities: Establish design parameters and limitations of materials and systems as required per project. Provide calculations for designs with respect to compliance and performance requirements of each project or system. Coordinate with vendors with respect to manufacturing and execution requirements. Confirm drawings and specifications are correct and compliant to applicable standards. Establish cost parameters for newly developed products and applications. Coordinate conference call and meetings with the project team and clients. Attend site meetings and take measurements of existing conditions. Documents changes in designs and research new solutions need to meet client needs.

Minimum Certifications and Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience and Training

Junior Architect/Engineer**

Functional Responsibilities: Provide support to project team, and senior engineer staff. Develop plans, specifications and training materials for review by senior staff. Confirm all project documentation is coordinated with reviewing customer staff. Attend site visits, meetings and conference calls for applicable design projects. Take measurements on site as required. Develop, manage and distribute warranty documents, owner, operator, and maintenance manuals.

Minimum Certifications and Education: Associate degree

Project Superintendent

Minimum Experience: 5 years

Functional Responsibilities: Supervise work of subcontractors and direct labor, ensure compliance with specs and drawings, develop punch lists. Ensure training and site access requirements are met.

Provide daily reports and 2-week look-ahead schedule to project management team. Receive, inspect, and ensure the proper storage of all project related materials. Conduct project site walks with the customer and document construction progress. Confirm monthly completion percentages for all pay activities. Conduct daily ‘tool box talks’ which address applicable safety topics. Monitor all personnel for the proper use of PPE and perform periodic inspections of all PPE. Conduct of pre-bid site visits, site investigations, kick-off meetings, and pre-construction meetings as required. Conduct routine communication, including e-mail and telephonic contact with vendors, subcontractors, and customers.

Minimum Certifications and Education: High School Diploma

Contract Administrator

Minimum Experience: 2 years

Functional Responsibilities: Read and advise management on terms found in various contracts.

Negotiate changes in terms of contracts. Provides information to project staff of perceived challenges in individual contracts. Write and execute subcontracts as applicable. Develop and execute compliance protocols for each contract.

Site Quality Control Manager

Minimum Experience: 10 years

Functional Responsibilities: Monitor and supervise activities of project for adherence with the quality control plan. Assist in developing a comprehensive quality control plan customizable for each job/activity. Execute quality directives set by the company and report on progress. Support clients in addressing quality procedures and concerns. Record quality deficiencies and ensures deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner.

Minimum Certifications and Education: High School Diploma and Construction Quality Management Certificate

Site Safety & Health Officer

Functional Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to safety plans, OSHA and EM 385 requirements.

Monitor hazardous and unsafe conditions. Provide documentation of near misses, safety infractions, and reportable accidents. Execute safety directives set by the company and report on progress.

Develop measure to ensure personnel safety is paramount for all jobsite activities.

Minimum Certifications and Education: High School Diploma and OSHA 30 Certificate

Junior AVB Technician**

Minimum Experience: 0 years

Functional Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on Active Vehicle Barrier (AVB) systems. Install repair components and testing system. Other responsibilities include assisting with set up / installation of new AVB system.

AVB Technician**

Functional Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on Active Vehicle Barrier (AVB) systems, troubleshoot systems when issues exist. Install repair components and testing system. Other responsibilities include setting up / installing new AVB system and testing for proper functionality.

Electrician**

Functional Responsibilities: Install conduits, wiring, transformers and circuit breakers for motor circuits, lighting circuits, lightening protection, and low voltage control wiring. Electricians are responsible for setting electrical equipment and panels. Other responsibilities include setting up control systems on equipment, terminating wiring, and testing.

Foreman/ Equipment Operator**

Functional Responsibilities: Oversee crew staff and technicians with respect to execution of job duties. Ensure housekeeping measures on job site are in order. Operate most heavy equipment utilized on the job, including offloading, setting equipment, excavations, and site restoration equipment. Ensure equipment and tools have been properly maintained and are in good working order. Assist in adherence to safety measures and policies with respect to crews and equipment.

Hydraulics Maintenance Lead Technician - Onsite

Minimum Experience: 5 years

Functional Responsibilities: Senior level technician who troubleshoots hydraulic systems and components.

Diagnoses problems and prepares estimates for repairs with labor, material, and equipment. Provides guidance to junior technicians. Repairs and installs new systems in the field. Cuts and cleans hoses. Assembles/crimps hoses, utilizes calibrated measurement tools to inspect the hose assemblies. Reads and follows drawings, prints, and component installation instructions. Routes and installs hydraulic hose, tubing and fittings from schematics. Assembles hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers.

Minimum Certifications and Education: High School

Hydraulics Maintenance Technician - Onsite

Functional Responsibilities: Troubleshoots hydraulic systems and components. Diagnoses problems and prepares estimates for repairs with labor, material, and equipment. Repairs and installs new systems in the field. Cuts and cleans hoses. Assembles/crimps hoses, utilizes calibrated measurement tools to inspect the hose assemblies. Intelligent Vehicle Undercarriage Scanner (IVUS) Field Technician

Minimum Experience: 4 years

Functional Responsibilities: Troubleshoots IVUS systems and components. Maintains, repairs, and installs electrical wiring and electronic components. Diagnoses problems and prepares estimates for repairs with labor, material, and equipment. Repairs and installs new systems in the field. Reads and follows drawings, prints, and component installation instructions. Routes and installs network and electrical wiring. Provides user training on product use.

Minimum Certifications and Education: High School

PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Minimum Experience: 3 years

Functional Responsibilities: Programs and modifies applications to meet and exceed customer requirements. Assists with project planning and system architecture design. Implements, tests, and debugs PLC systems. Commissions solutions at customer sites, including troubleshooting of electronics, electrical, and mechanical systems. Travels to customer sites when needed.

Minimum Certifications and Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer

Engineering or related field.

SENIOR PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) ENGINEER
