MDX Inc's OSHA specialized hands-on training safety program is intended to provide a variety of trainings on how to identify, abate and ultimately prevent job hazards on a job site. These courses cover a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter on a job site. Our courses emphasize proper hazard identification, avoidance, and control in compliance with OSHA standards. 1 day 10 $209.57

Training

MDX Inc's OSHA specialized hands-on training safety program is intended to provide a variety of trainings on how to identify, abate and ultimately prevent job hazards on a job site. These courses cover a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter on a job site. Our courses emphasize proper hazard identification, avoidance, and control in compliance with OSHA standards. 3 days 10 $443.32

Lockout/ Tagout Training

Lockout-tagout (LOTO) is a safety procedure which is used in industry and research settings to ensure that dangerous machines are properly shut off and not able to be started up again prior to the completion of maintenance or servicing work. MDX Safety provides Lockout Tagout (LOTO) safety courses that are based on OSHA LOTO regulations. This training teaches proper lockout/tagout procedure, equipment, required lockout tagout devices, hazardous energy sources, injury prevention and legislative requirements. 8 hours 10 $201.51

Fall Protection Competent Person Training

This course focuses on the best practices in regards to fall protection, fall protection equipment, and fall protection safety. Participants are introduced to possible fall related hazards as well as the components of a fall protection system including body support, anchorages, connectors and rescue. 8 hours 10 $282.12

Confined Space Training

This course will demonstrate how to work in a confined space environment to maximize safety for you and those around you, as well as certify you under the OSHA Confined Space standard. 8 hours 10

Rigging Training

Crane safety and emergency procedures; this course covers safety standards and best practices relevant to the operation of cranes.

Describes safety considerations related to power lines, weather conditions, and specific crane functions. Basic Principles of Cranes introduces mobile crane equipment with an in-depth discussion of terminology and nomenclature. 8 hours 10 $201.51

Excavation Competent Person Training

This excavation training covers the OSHA Excavation Standard and safety and health aspects of excavation and trenching. Course topics include practical soil mechanics and its relationship to the stability of shored and unshored slopes and walls of excavations, introduction of various types of shoring (wood timbers and hydraulic), soil classification, and use of protective systems. 8 hours 10 $229.72

Scaffolds Training

MDX Scaffold Competent Person training provides full concepts and procedures involved with scaffold building. This includes handling various conditions in a responsible manner, developing a safety plan, and inspecting scaffold equipment on a regular basis. A scaffold builder masters all concepts and procedures involved with scaffold building. He/she interprets safety and hazard warnings to ensure the proper handling of scaffolding. 8 hours 10 $201.51

First Aid CPR AED Bloodborne Pathogens Training

Basic First Aid was created to help students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting and conforms to the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for Medic First Aid. 8 hours 10 $120.91

Powered Industrial Vehicles Training

This course will cover the uses, types, components, and controls of Powered Industrial Vehicles. Each trainee will complete Core Safety training, paired with seat time/operations with observation instruction for each additional weight class of lift truck or equipment type they will be certified to operate. Training will also include an overview of weight capacity and the stability triangle. Safety guidelines, inspections, and preventative maintenance will be covered.

Flagger Training

- DOT Inspection Assessment

The topics discussed in this course involve a thorough understanding of flagging procedures, proper use of required equipment, review of flagging skills from hands-on training and 8 hours 10 $241.81 classroom activities, and coordinate traffic movement through the work zone. Students will receive a full color, waterproof picture ID card, each with its own individual assigned number to prove its authenticity.

Traffic Control Supervisor

This course is designed to train those who will be actively involved in designing or setting up and maintaining temporary traffic control in a work zone. It moves from the concepts and techniques to the implementation of traffic control plans and techniques for installation and removal. 8 hours 10 $241.81

Aerial Lift Training

Our program teaches essential knowledge on how to properly operate and abate hazards within the workplace. Our trainee certification program will provide the knowledge, skills and tools on how to properly use the equipment depending on classification. 8 hours 10

Overhead Crane Training

Overhead crane and hoist training provide instruction on safe operating practices, proper load handling, pre-use inspection and accident avoidance. We place emphasis on informing the operator on the interaction of overhead crane components which makes an operator better able to provide early detection of unsafe conditions. 8 hours 10 $362.72

Excavation, Shoring, Trenching Competent Person Training

The Hazcom Standard and the GHS ensure consistency in labeling, storing, cleaning and transporting potentially dangerous chemicals. 8 hours 10 $201.51

NFPA - 70 Arc Flash Training

This course describes how to assess and eliminate shock, arc blast, and arc flash hazards using the practical safe working requirements detailed in NFPA 70E standard for Electrical Safety in the workplace. Where it is not possible to eliminate a hazard, an energized electrical work permit must be completed and workers must be protected by appropriate safety procedures and personal protective equipment. 8 hours 10 $241.81

Scissor Lift Training

MDX's Scissor-lift course satisfies OSHA's requirements for the classroom portion of operator safety training. Students will learn to recognize different types and uses for aerial and scissor lifts, identify hazards of aerial and scissor lift use and operation, select inspection criteria for the vehicle, the lift and the work surroundings prior to lift operation and identify safe work practice for operating aerial and scissor lifts. 8 hours 10 $241.81

Signal Person Training

This course is designed for individuals who will be a flagger or responsible for setting up flagging operations in work zones, inspectors, contractors, and state, city, and county agencies. 8 hours 10 $201.51

Service Contract Labor Standards: The Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), formerly known as the Service Contract Act (SCA), is applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCLS/SCA due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101,

22.1102 and 29 CRF 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCLS/SCA eligible labor categories. If and / or when the contractor adds SCLS/SCA labor categories to the contract through the modification process, the contractor must inform the Contracting Officer and establish a SCLS/SCA matrix identifying the GSA labor category titles, the occupational code, SCLS/SCA labor category titles and the applicable WD number. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the contract.
