Clerk II *** Job Description:
1. Receive visitors and help as appropriate by responding to inquiries from various sources regarding location of patients, hospital clinics, wards, offices, visiting hours, and facility services by providing informational material and directional guidance.
2. Receive telephone calls, take messages, and route or deliver to appropriate office staff members. Utilize and manage communication pager or intercom system to page staff members. Answer telephone calls and take messages for the Command Suite telephone numbers during/after duty hours, weekends, and holidays. Monitor a mega system and report to the Administrative Office of the Day (AOD).
3. Comply with the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act, Joint Commission, and other appropriate governing directives regarding the management and release of medical information.
4. Assist with faxing, filing, copying, scanning, collating, and binding of materials. Generate and format reports, forms, and listings by sorting, selecting and merging documents. Type a variety of materials, reports, and/or reports. Ensure usage of correct spelling, format, and grammar. Help in maintaining designated forms in stock for office usage.

1. Record information relative to changes in physical location and/or telephone numbers and maps of offices, personnel, and /or organizations made available to both information desks and the Central Communications Room.
1. Provide hospital overhead paging services regarding announcements, pager calls and medical emergency codes from the Central Communications room in accordance with established procedures. Overhead announcements are also provided for Code Blue, Code Red, Code Pink, traumas, fire, and generator drills.
1. Provide dispatching and monitoring of Code Blue calls. Receive requests either by telephone call to the Central Communications Room or an Automatic Nurse Call System for Code Blue calls. Perform routine checks daily of the Code Blue Pager test.

Job Description: Draft and create attendee confirmation packets that include confirmation of the attendee’s registration, agenda, directions to venue, background information (e.g., One-paragraph bio, etc.) and attendee contact sheet.
• Distribute Government approved attendee confirmation packet to registered attendees via email.
• Design, create, and provide recommendations for agendas upon receipt of the agenda content from the Government.
• Gather and consolidate input from Government staff and update slide presentations and background papers needed for events.
• Develop, produce, and print event materials, (e.g., flyers, pamphlets, slides, etc.) for disseminating.
• Ensure Section 508 Compliance.
• Ensure all Electronic and Information Technology, as defined at FAR 2.101, conforms to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C 794) and the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board’s (U.S. Access Board) information and communication technology (ICT) accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194.1 for final Government deliverables.
• Ensure 508 Compliance for all outreach and engagement materials including Contractor-produced content in any format that could be placed on a website or online application or intended for electronic distribution, unless otherwise directed by the Government; or Any contractor-produced content written, created, or produced for any communications materials intended for public or internal use; to include reports, documents, charts, posters, presentations (such as MS PowerPoint) or video material that could be placed on a Government website or online application, a Government-funded website or online application.
• Develop talking points, and thank you letters for use by DSPO to facilitate the participation of keynote speakers.
• Provide a follow-up report for each Roundtable event that includes a summary of event discussion and proceedings, recommendations for event improvements, and obtain feedback through participant’s surveys.

• Create and disseminate updates and announcements through email prior to the events.
• Produce registration data reports, attendee directory, tent cards (for each registered participant), and name cards (for each registered participant).

Job Description: Ability to acquire and use basic computer skills such as MHS Genesis, Integrated Clinical Database (ICDB), Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS).
• Expert knowledge of and skills in general management, organizational principles, and practices of credentialing and privileging to analyze, evaluate, advise, and coordinate on all aspects of the credentialing process.
• Extensive knowledge of individual states’ medical boards, national medical certifying medical boards, and other agency requirements regarding licensing and certification is required.
• Must possess extensive ability to analyze, identify, and resolve complex problems or unusual situations regarding the credentials and privileging process.
• Knowledge of Air Force healthcare directives related to medical practices and their association to credentialing actions a plus.
