Professional Services, Management and Financial Consulting
Attorney Attorneys advise clients on various legal strategies and ongoing litigations, research various aspects of their cases to support their clients' claims, create case strategies that best meet the client's goals and appear in court before a jury or judge to defend a client's interests and rights.
Minimum Education: Juris Doctor Minimum Experience: 10 years
Fact Witness Coordinator The Contractor shall provide all clerical services required to perform the tasks related to the support of the fact witness management process by providing a variety of direct assistance to Victim-Witness personnel, legal assistants, administrative staff, and other personnel. The primary purpose of the contractors is to support the fact witness management process by completing and processing travel vouchers; arranging for witness travel and lodging; working directly with witnesses to ensure appearance for court, pre-trial conferences, and grand jury; and coordinating with other agencies as required, among other duties. A secondary objective is to reduce the delay in witness payments and enable Victim- Witness personnel to increase the quality and quantity of direct services being provided to victims.
Minimum Education: High School Equivalent Minimum Experience: 1 year
Legal Assistant I Examining, preparing, and processing a variety of technical legal documents, e.g., complaints, motions orders, affidavits, pleadings, and subpoenas; coordinates with other agencies and drafts pleadings and other documents. Creates, copies, edits, makes insertions and deletions, and moves text throughout a single document and from one electronic word processing file to another. Stores, retrieves, and prints a variety of documents to include those requiring complex formats such as graphics or tables within a Word document, Excel spreadsheet or other format as required. Ensures documents are in the proper format, and that spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar. Provides docketing assistance to maintain automated records for criminal cases.
Maintains automated records for the criminal case workload, from initial referral to final disposition to include case file closure, as instructed by appropriate legal support staff.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Minimum Experience: 1 year

Litigation Law Clerk Classify, prioritize, and respond in cases where the criminal sentences must be reviewed. Must be able to examine prisoner petitions (sometimes filed pro se and not always easy to decipher) determining whether the individual is entitled to relief or whether the court should exercise its discretion and grant or deny relief. This may include but is not limited to examination of inmate’s prior criminal records to determine whether prior convictions still “count” for sentencing purposes, and examination of prisoner’s institutional record to determine whether his conduct merits relief. We must document our responses to each petition. The Law Clerk will work under close supervision with required assistance available. They will review documents to extract selected data and information relating to specific items. They will review and summarize information in prescribed format and assist in the presentation of charts.
The Law Clerk will utilize automated legal research tools and information databases. Information gathered will be organized, indexed, and presented to the supervisor in a concise manner.
Paralegal I The paralegal/data services specialist will conduct research and writing on a broad range of civil and/or criminal cases including, but not limited to Health Care Fraud, and Affirmative Civil Enforcement. Will assist the legal team to find documents to use during witness interviews and to help build a complete factual theory of the case(s). Will utilize a variety of automated legal research tools as well as public information databases and other automated resources to research case or program specific legal matters.
Information gathered will be organized, indexed and presented to the legal team in a concise manner.
Requires sound working knowledge of target systems, research procedures and sources of information.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, thorough knowledge of automated research tools, such as LEXIS and word processing, database, spread sheet, and telecommunications. Requires ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure and ensure that work meets contract and Government requirements and is delivered on time.
