Drone Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (DVRA)

This course/workshop aims to impart fundamental knowledge about carrying out a DVRA. It provides a structured framework and approach to the assessment process. It introduces basic concepts to kickstart your ability to add the study results to your holistic security approach that includes considerations for the air domain and maturing drone technology. This course/workshop is particularly beneficial for government operators of counter-unmanned systems and any business looking to incorporate the air domain into their security approach and program. The course/workshop is designed to lay a solid foundation upon which you can further build and customize as environmental changes occur. The DVRA will serve as the bedrock for your comprehensive drone risk mitigation strategy and seamlessly integrate with the existing business security program. Students earn 3

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits through ASIS International’s Preferred CPE Provider Program upon successful completion of the course.

Drone Emergency Response Planning (DERP)

This course/workshop aims to impart fundamental knowledge in developing a DERP and is directly linked to the foundations established in the DVRA training workshop. This course is particularly beneficial for all security professionals in government service or private-sector operations responsible for a comprehensive security program. It is designed for any government entity or business looking to incorporate the “air domain” into its security policies, procedures, and operating protocols. The DERP will serve as the bedrock for your comprehensive drone risk mitigation strategy and seamlessly integrate with your existing business security program. It will establish a framework for response and action during a drone event. The course is designed to lay a solid foundation upon which you can further build and customize as the environment changes. Whether you are a government or private sector security professional or a business aiming to safeguard your operations from drone-related risks, this course will provide you with the essential tools to enhance your security protocols with the evolving physical security challenges posed by the air domain. Students earn 3 Continuing Professional

Education (CPE) credits through ASIS International’s Preferred CPE Provider Program upon successful completion of the course.

Counter-unmanned aerial systems (CUAS) and Law

This course/workshop aims to impart and introduce the fundamental knowledge needed to understand CUAS, including the most current U.S. law governing the technology and its use. It is directly related to the established courses/workshops regarding DVRA and DERP and is linked to the foundations of each as you gain a better understanding of the fast-paced evolution of commercial drones and how to begin implementation of the air domain in your security approach and program. Students earn 3 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits through ASIS International’s Preferred CPE Provider Program upon successful completion of the course.

Left of small unmanned aerial system (sUAS/Drone) Launch (LoDL)

The Left of Drone Launch course/workshop is the last step in a methodology/suite of training courses/workshops that builds from the foundations of CUAS and Law, results of the DVRA assessment, and the policy and procedures established by the DERP. The LoDL operationalizes a proactive left-of-launch plan that gives security professionals the ability to set an active security posture. The LoDL emphasizes environmental factors established by the DVRA and the technical analysis derived from CUAS and Law and the DERP. The LoDL supports the collaboration of internal and external stakeholders and prepares the established team for understanding potential launch locations and how to actively devise a patrolling, reconnaissance, and surveillance program. The LoDL will support warfighters and tactical operations in any environment and is a great tool for implementation as part of a military application or private-sector business security approach. The left-of-launch course is designed to help operators define an operational plan and develop a CONOP that is functional within the environment. Students earn 3 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits through ASIS International’s

Preferred CPE Provider Program upon successful completion of the course.
