ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I

Functional Responsibility: Performs secretarial, clerical, and/or general administrative tasks. Schedules and maintains calendars. Arranges travel and meetings. Requires strong computer skills.

Minimum/General Experience: One year of experience.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II

Functional Responsibility: Provides overall administrative support. Specifically, performs secretarial, clerical, and/or general administrative tasks. Requires strong computer skills.

Minimum/General Experience: Three years of experience.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.

ADVISOR III

Functional Responsibility: Responsible for oversight of research projects, educational activities, management of expert consultants, evaluation of staff performance, and serves as liaison with government agencies and other partner organizations. Acts as a program consultant where skills are relevant for both internal and external clients, consultants, and professional and provider groups.

Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare field.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in the healthcare field or social science; PhD preferred

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Functional Responsibility: Responsible for maintaining and monitoring company-client relationships and ongoing client satisfaction for assigned contracts and projects. Ensures timely and high-quality contract deliverables and is accountable for the development and adherence to project time and task schedules for assigned projects.

Minimum/General Experience: Seven years of work experience in a healthcare-related field. At least five years of management experience in the healthcare field.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

BUSINESS ANALYST I

Functional Responsibility: Supports the elicitation of business requirements and maintains project documentation. Serves as a liaison between business and technical teams. Requires the ability to create flowcharts based on business analysis.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

BUSINESS ANALYST II

Functional Responsibility: Coordinates the elicitation of business requirements, maintains project documentation, and manages the testing process. Designs and draws business process models. Serves as a liaison between business and technical teams.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Functional Responsibility: Designs, produces, and implements a variety of communications and project-related activities for various healthcare quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum/General Experience: One to three years of experience with communications, editing, or publishing. Excellent writing skills, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with an emphasis on journalism, communications, or health education or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

CONTRACT LIAISON

Functional Responsibility: Acts as program director and primary contact between client staff and project staff. Provides oversight to project directors and staff. Directs all contract activities, so that all contract deliverables and tasks are conducted accurately, timely, and within budget. Assists senior management with strategic, business and action planning for current operations and future business endeavors.

Minimum/General Experience: Ten years of experience in business or healthcare field, with three years of senior management experience in contract management/oversight.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration, health education, public health administration or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

COORDINATOR I

Functional Responsibility: Supports team members with projects to meet deadlines. Coordinates travel when required, serves as the point of contact for client calls, and supports activities and workflow within the project team and between teams.

Minimum/General Experience: One year of work experience in public health, related social science, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative discipline.

DATA ANALYST (ANALYTICS MANAGER)

Functional Responsibility: Acts as a liaison between the company and outside agencies and organizations. Performs daily project management tasks for analytic projects. Coordinates internal and external client communications on behalf of the team.

Minimum/General Experience: At least three years of work experience; at least two years of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare field; experience managing national clients.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or another health-related field or equivalent combination of certifications, degree, and experience.

DATA ANALYST (ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR)

Functional Responsibility: Provides analytic oversight on a broad spectrum of healthcare data projects. Designs and implements appropriate data science methodologies requiring a broad range of technical sophistication and rigor. Proposes novel data science methods from other industries that could be incorporated into the company’s healthcare analytic activities. EXECUTIVE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Functional Responsibility: Responsible for planning, directing, and managing overall operations of client contracts. Serves as a day-to-day contact for contracts. Communicates with Executive Management to ensure appropriate interaction, consultation, and exchange of project-specific ideas. Actively participates in budget planning, including recommendations for quality interventions, staffing, travel, equipment, and supplies needed.

Minimum/General Experience: Ten years of work experience in a healthcare-related field. At least seven years of management experience.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field required; Master’s degree and demonstrated healthcare management experience preferred or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR I

Functional Responsibility: Provides leadership for the strategic planning, design, implementation, and execution of a program that includes several projects. Provides guidance and assistance to project managers and staff on projects. Provides oversight and acts as administrative liaison to all departments and programs. Develops and maintains administrative and regulatory compliance systems and optimal resource allocation criteria. Develops, monitors, and manages annual budgets.

Minimum/General Experience: Ten years of experience in business and healthcare fields with five years of Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) or External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) experience or senior management experience in healthcare administration.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

HEALTH POLICY RESEARCHER II

Functional Responsibility: Conducts evidence-based literature reviews; conducts environmental scans; drafts expert panel summaries; and contributes to technical documents.

Minimum/General Experience: Three years of experience in healthcare research. Experience with statistical methods and analytic experience preferred.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in healthcare-related field, such as public health, health services research, or health policy, or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

HEALTH POLICY RESEARCHER III

Functional Responsibility: Conducts evidence-based literature reviews and environmental scans; reviews work from lower-level researchers; drafts expert panel summaries; and contributes to and conducts client and technical expert panel presentations, policy briefs, technical reports, option papers, and journal articles.

Minimum/General Experience: Five years of experience in healthcare research. Experience with statistical methods and analytic experience preferred.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in healthcare-related field, such as public health, health services research, or health policy, or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

PROGRAM LEAD I

Functional Responsibility: Supports the work of specific components of a program. Works with other contractors and stakeholders, develops project communications, and conducts other duties as assigned by the director.

Minimum/General Experience: Two years of experience.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

PROGRAM LEAD II

Functional Responsibility: Coordinates the work of specific components of a program. Plans programmatic activities and guides team staff in their implementation. Documents and reports progress to communicate with the team and client.

PROGRAM LEAD III

Functional Responsibility: Leads the work of specific components of a program. Plans programmatic activities and guides team staff in their implementation. Provides the client with updates on the progress and obstacles facing a program. Manages and resolves issues as they arise, identifies potential risks, and creates plans if they occur.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT DIRECTOR I

Functional Responsibility: Implements quality improvement activities. Provides technical expertise on a particular subject to leadership staff, providers, partners, stakeholders, and community members.

Minimum/General Experience: Ten years of supervisory and managerial experience. Working knowledge of government healthcare-related programs.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in public health, health care administration, gerontology, epidemiology, or other related field or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT DIRECTOR III

Functional Responsibility: Oversees the strategic planning, design, implementation, and execution of a program that includes several projects. Provides guidance and assistance to project managers and staff on projects. Provides oversight and acts as administrative liaison to all departments and programs. Develops and maintains administrative and regulatory compliance systems and optimal resource allocation criteria. Develops, monitors, and manages a $1 to $3 million annual budget. Assists senior management with strategic, business/financial, and action planning for current operations and future business endeavors.

Minimum/General Experience: Twenty years of experience in business and healthcare fields, with 10 years of senior management experience in healthcare administration, including management of a $1 million + budget. Requires extensive knowledge of utilization review, quality assurance (QA), quality improvement (QI), public relations, project planning/management, budgeting/fiscal management, project accounting, contract management, communications, and adult education.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, health education, or public administration or other related field or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST I

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, or related discipline such as nursing, public health, social work or nursing home administration, or AA degree with four years of experience, or six years of experience. CPHQ preferred. Certifications may be used in place of experience.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST IV

Functional Responsibility: Understands, implements, and integrates a comprehensive, highly effective program to improve patient safety and quality. Leads and/or assists the development of action plans related to Quality and Patient Safety Improvement. Participates with the team to develop goals and objectives for areas of responsibility.

Minimum/General Experience: At least five years of direct clinical experience; extensive experience and progressive responsibility in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST SENIOR

Functional Responsibility: Coordinates project management tasks, including planning, staffing, communication (written and oral), and training. Communicates/consults with healthcare providers and communities on a regular basis to assist with advancing their quality improvement objectives and to provide technical assistance and recommendations as needed. Assesses the current healthcare environment, provider and community processes, support systems, and barriers, and based upon assessment findings and in collaboration with providers, partners, and stakeholders, recommends appropriate interventions.

Minimum/General Experience: Ten or more years of healthcare experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare environment; experience in infection control in a healthcare setting a plus.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in appropriate science or related discipline and holds a current healthcare-related license (RN, NP, PA, PharmD) or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

TECHNICAL WRITER I

Functional Responsibility: Conducts technical reviews of materials developed by a team.

Minimum/General Experience: Two years of experience.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or related field or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.

TECHNICAL WRITER II

Functional Responsibility: Reviews and edits technical documents, official communications, presentations, and other documents. Contributes to the finalization of materials supporting outward communication to target communities.

Minimum/General Experience: Four years of experience.

TECHNICAL WRITER III

Functional Responsibility: Designs, manages and maintains content for external websites. This includes collaborating with external clients and internal project leads on researching solutions, investigating capabilities, developing requirements, and delivering system implementation.

Minimum/General Experience: Three years of experience. Strong knowledge of Internet technologies and scripting languages (PHP, JSP, HTML, JS, XML, DHTML, CSS, XSLT, XHTML, etc.)

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or IT related degree, or AA degree with four years of experience, or six years of experience or equivalent combination of certifications, degrees, and experience.
