Consultant I: Under direct supervision completes tasks including but not limited to management or strategy consulting, including research, evaluations, studies, analyses, scenarios/simulations, reports, business policy and regulation development assistance, strategy formulation, program development and expert witness services, facilitation and related decision support services, survey services, using a variety of methodologies, including survey planning, design, and development; survey administration; data validation and analysis; reporting, and stakeholder briefings, advisory and assistance services in accordance with FAR 37.203.

This labor category will also provide training support to include: instructor led training, web based training and education courses, course development and test administration and learning management.

This labor category will also provide program or project management, from planning to closeout and operational/administrative business support services in order to carry out program objectives.

Specific areas of support may include but are not limited to business continuity, security, vulnerability assessments, planning, exercises, data acquisition and validation. Minimum educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a technical or professional discipline. Level of experience is zero to three years.

Consultant II: Under general supervision completes tasks including but not limited to management or strategy consulting, including research, evaluations, studies, analyses, scenarios/simulations, reports, business policy and regulation development assistance, strategy formulation, program development and expert witness services, facilitation and related decision support services, survey services, using a variety of methodologies, including survey planning, design, and development; survey administration; data validation and analysis; reporting, and stakeholder briefings, advisory and assistance services in accordance with FAR 37.203.

Subject Matter Expert: Completes tasks requiring specialized knowledge in specific areas including but not limited to management or strategy consulting, including research, evaluations, studies, analyses, scenarios/simulations, reports, business policy and regulation development assistance, strategy formulation, program development and expert witness services, facilitation and related decision support services, survey services, using a variety of methodologies, including survey planning, design, and development; survey administration; data validation and analysis; reporting, and stakeholder briefings, advisory and assistance services in accordance with FAR 37.203.

Specific areas of support may include but are not limited to environmental, business continuity, security, vulnerability assessments, planning, exercises, data acquisition and validation. Minimum educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a technical or professional discipline. A minimum of 15 years prior experience is required. An advanced degree is preferred. For purposes of experience a master’s degree will count as two years’ experience and a doctorate degree will count as four years’ experience.

This labor category will also provide training support to include: instructor led training, web based training and education courses, course development and test administration and learning management.

This labor category will also provide program or project management, from planning to closeout and operational/administrative business support services in order to carry out program objectives.

Minimum educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a specialized field. An advanced degree is preferred however the expertise of the individual is more important than level of education.

Environmental Scientist I: Knowledge of environmental issues that may include: regulations, compliance, remediation, sampling methods, investigation, botany, ecology, zoology, rangeland ecology including plant communities, endangered species, riparian areas, etc., soils, including soil formation, classification, and mapping, soil/water relationships, soil chemistry, soil biology, and soil fertility, environmental chemistry, soil contamination and remediation, geology hydrology, and/or hydrogeology wetland soils, remediation of contaminated soils, and restoration of disturbed lands. This labor category also includes a knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and the ability to apply GIS principles to various projects.

Minimum educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in an environmentally related discipline. Level of experience is zero to three years.

Administrative Assistant: Knowledge of administrative procedures including personnel issues, invoicing, filing systems, etc. Generally responsible for proper operation of office procedures. Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Level of experience is zero to six years.

Editor: Knowledge and experiencing regarding editing technical documents. Responsible for conducting editorial review of reports and other deliverables. Provides comment on grammatical quality of documents based on approved style guides. Minimum educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with appropriate course work related to editing technical documents. Minimum level of experience is six years.
