LABOR CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS

Remediation Technician

Functional Responsibility: The remediation technician typically uses various cleaning and restoration/remediation techniques and methods for testing, handling, processing, packaging, and removal and/or remediation relating to hazardous materials. This may include asbestos, lead, mold, etc. They may also be involved in general labor activities, equipment setup and decontamination, site preparation, and other activities when associated with these types of hazardous materials.

Minimum Experience: 2 years

Minimum Education: High School

Assistant Project Manager

Functional Responsibility: An assistant Project Manager is needed to assist coordinating the work of sub-contractors and performing other project management duties. Full-time Supervision/Project

Management may be typical on larger commercial projects where the number of sub-contractors and trades justifies the need. Smaller jobs may warrant project management charges on an as-needed basis. An assistant Project Manager may complete tasks such as, but not limited to, creating/maintaining project schedules, coordinating/meeting trades, ordering materials, inspecting job sites, obtaining permits, meeting with inspectors, etc.

Minimum Experience: Associates Degree

Minimum Education: 3 years

Drying/Dehumidification Technician

Functional Responsibility: The drying/dehumidification technician typically uses various remediation techniques for structural drying, water remediation (including gray and black water), etc. They are involved in water extraction, drying equipment, removal of water damaged material, etc.

Minimum Experience: High School

Minimum Education: 2 years

Project Supervisor

Functional Responsibility: Coordinates the work of subcontractors and performs other project management duties. The Project Supervisor generally manages multiple jobs at once. In some cases, the use of a full-time formal supervisor may be warranted. Project Supervisors may complete tasks such as, but not limited to, creating/maintaining project schedules, coordinating/meeting trades, ordering materials, inspecting job sites, obtaining permits, meeting with inspectors, etc.

Minimum Experience: Associates Degree

Administrator / Clerical Support

Functional Responsibility: This role involves keeping jobsite records of labor tracking, equipment tracking, materials tracking, expendables, and all job costs generally utilized on time and material projects.

SERVICES RELATED TO COVID 19 VIRUS

First Atlantic Restoration's Environmental Division (First Atlantic Environmental) exists with the primary focus on virus and infection containment, negative pressure rooms supported by STARC hardwall barrier systems, and virus and infection eradication by DARPA developed SteraMist disinfection systems. SteraMist was created to control Ebola and weaponized anthrax and is also lethal to the COVID-19 virus as it has a 6-log reduction, or 99.9999% efficiency. First Atlantic has been able to provide immediate response to the cleaning and decontamination services related to the COVID 19 virus. Since the start of COVID 19, our Environmental division has been busy decontaminating offices, hospitals, nursing homes, and various commercial buildings with the use of SteraMist.
