Contract Specialist I

Provide basic support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement in which expertise is required such as: preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages, actively participating in developing and managing acquisition plans, preparing/researching support documentation, making quality recommendations to the Contracting officer, handling and resolving problems, validating data, and otherwise completing actions needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer and or/or closeout Government contracts or task/delivery orders; experienced in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.

Minimum Education - Minimum/General Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, FAC-C Level I or DAWIA certification preferred. Four years of specialized experience, at least one of these years must be Federal Government contracting experience

Contract Specialist II

Provide intermediate support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement in which expertise is required such as: preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages, actively participating in developing and managing acquisition plans, preparing/researching support documentation, making quality recommendations to the Contracting officer, handling and resolving problems, validating data, and otherwise completing actions needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer and or/or closeout Government contracts or task/delivery orders;

experience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications; understanding of the uses of the various acquisition approaches, e.g. full and open competition, cost plus and fixed price contracts, Government Wide Agency Contracts and blanket purchase agreements, and is able to formulate documentation for the various approaches; demonstrates good organization and writing skills; experience in handling large and complex procurements from procurement planning through contract execution; demonstrated expertise in all life cycle phases of contracting, including the pre-award phase of contracting (acquisition planning, solicitation, source selection and award), and post award contract administration, as well as contract problem identification, analysis and resolution

Contract Specialist III

Provide advanced support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement in which expertise is required such as: preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages, actively participating in developing and managing acquisition plans, preparing/researching support documentation, making quality recommendations to the Contracting officer, handling and resolving problems, validating data, and otherwise completing actions needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer and or/or closeout Government contracts or task/delivery orders;

experience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications; performs strategic planning on acquisition approaches, especially for complex and first time procurements; participates in the structuring of RFPs for complex and technology procurements and develops RFP and contract documentation; for major procurements, develops contract line item structures, reduces technical requirements into logical frameworks and unambiguous specifications and statements of work, leads development of evaluation criteria and evaluation schemes, and crafts project unique contract clauses; develops the requisite planning and justification documentation for approval of major procurements, and supports and defends the procurement to approval authorities

Minimum Education - Minimum/General Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, FAC-C Level III or DAWIA certification preferred. Ten years of specialized experience, at least three of these years must be Federal Government contracting experience

Administrative Assistant I

Coordinate and support meetings and special events for the organization; coordinate Video Teleconference Conference requirements; prepare travel orders and travel and lodging arrangements; maintain conference room reservation schedules; enter data and maintain office databases such as organizational charts, personnel accountability, travel, training, and budget; serve as records manager and maintain office files and databases including SharePoint sites in accordance with government requirements for auditing purposes; collect, review, archive forms (such as leave requests, employee work schedules, and telework applications); enter data into timekeeping system; prepare, review and process training requests, travel orders, travel vouchers, conference requests, personnel related documents; respond to administrative queries; receive and screen visitors and phone calls; professionally answer telephones, take messages, and refer calls and visitors to appropriate staff; operate shared office equipment, to include copy machine, scanners, facsimile machine, computers, printers, and shredders, and as needed submit repair requests;

follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs); prepare and review correspondence (e.g., minutes, information papers, reports, queries, taskers) for grammatical errors, proper tone, accuracy, clarity, and formatting;

Administrative Assistant II

Perform duties of the Administrative Assistant I and: Disseminate information and provide guidance to staff and administrative personnel in subordinate offices for clerical and administrative matters to ensure compliance with procedural requirements and instructions; review and revise administrative procedures (SOPs and IOPs) and policies for standardization; train subordinate contractual administrative staff on the standard databases, SOPs, and IOPs; serve as the office administrative point of contact for internal and external non-technical and administrative requests or taskers; participate in administrative aspects of mission-essential projects from inception to completion which may include project schedules and reviews, status reports, milestone reviews, and cost-benefit analyses; facilitate and coordinate procedural issues surrounding projects to include planning and budgeting time, materials, and resources according to established government policies

Minimum Education –. Minimum/General Experience: High School diploma or its equivalent. Five years of relevant general office experience

Administrative Assistant III

Perform duties of the Administrative Assistant I and II and: Provide administrative support to executive or equivalent level personnel; participate or support organizational projects which may include project schedules and reviews, status reports, milestone reviews, and cost-benefit analyses; facilitate and coordinate procedural issues surrounding projects to include planning and budgeting time, materials, and resources according to SOPs or IOPs; serve as office administrative point of contact for nontechnical and administrative requests in response to higher headquarters; plan and coordinate administrative and technical training and developmental opportunities; review and analyze administrative policies, clarify complex and confusing guidelines, and make recommendations to higher headquarters for changes to administrative policy. · Create and maintain multiple office databases
