Provides project and field support to staff, including but not limited to field sampling, maintenance of field and laboratory equipment and data entry.

Staff Scientist I B.S. degree or higher, 5+ years combined education & experience

Executes fields sampling and/or other investigations based on identified sampling protocols. Must clearly document field conditions and sampling efforts.

Communicates with project managers on all aspects of scheduling, field logistics, and general project support. Compiles, reduces and formats field data.

Provides limited input to reports and technical memorandums, as requested.

Staff Scientist II B.S. degree or higher, 7+ years combined education & experience, professional certification preferred

Executes fields sampling and/or other investigations based on identified sampling protocols, Must clearly document field conditions and sampling efforts.

Communicates with project managers on all aspects of scheduling, field logistics, and general project support. Compiles, reduces and formats field data, and writes portions or all of technical documents under direction of project manager. Provides direct client support as needed. Participates in industry, marketing and business development efforts.

Reviews and approves project expenses as guided by the project manager. Begins to manage smaller projects under guidance of principal.
