Government Responses to Industry’s Questions 6/16/2021

Please advise if a second site visit can be arranged.

There are no plans for a second site visit at this time

Please advise if any hazardous materials will be encountered

There is no evidence of hazardous material in any of the work areas within the work areas. A comprehensive Asbestos Management program is available for the JC Cleveland building. There are no known hazardous construction materials in the WB Rudman Courthouse.

Please advise if the project will be phased. If so, what are the phases?

There is no government directed phase plan. The contractor is to provide an implementation plan upon award.

Please advise if an escort will be required in parts of the building. If so, please advise which parts.

All personnel who work in the building on this project will be required to be HSPD-12 cleared. Once personnel are HSPD-

12 cleared, there is no escort required.

Please advise if the areas of construction will be occupied during construction.

It is envisioned that the work CAN be completed during normal building operational hours. Some coordination is required because of the operational nature of the facility.

Should the contractor desire to work various areas after hours, the gov will entertain that possibility.

Please advise dumpster location.

There is no location on the facility for a dumpster. There is the possibility for the contractor to lease parking spaces from the City of Concord on South St. If a dumpster is placed on South

St. the contractor will be responsible for dumpster security.

Please advise if there is off hours work.

Off hours work CAN be coordinated between the government and the contractor.
