About this file
This document outlines infection control risk assessment (ICRA) procedures for a construction project to expand an existing dialysis center at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. The project involves expanding dialysis capacity (Type B medium-scale work) in an area of high patient risk. Based on the ICRA matrix, Class III precautions are required which entails infection control documentation. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation issued by the VA Veterans Health Administration VISN 16 for Project 667-23-102 to expand the dialysis center (Project #36C25623R0017). Proposals are due based on the standard solicitation timeframe and award will also follow standard procedures.
