About this file
This document is a sole source justification for a video management system equipment and software procurement by the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection. It details that the requirement is for law enforcement-centric video management equipment and software that integrates directly with existing systems at Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Market research found that JDL Digital Systems doing business as Airship is the only suitable vendor that can meet the entirety of the requirements. The contract was awarded on September 27, 2021 to Airship for an unknown amount. The justification cites Airship's experience through previous contracts and the need for interoperability with other federal law enforcement systems as rationale for the sole source award.
