JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND REQUIRMENTS Attachment #1
SIN 620-001 Physician
Responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries; examining patients;
ordering or executing various tests; conducting physical examinations; analyzing diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition; analyzing reports and findings of tests and exams; administering and prescribing treatments and drugs; referring patients to medical specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment.
Experience: Minimum 1year Experience
Education/License: Valid State License, Board certification in Family/General Medicine
References: Three (3) professional references
Other: Hold a current BLS training Certificate
SIN 620-026 Dentist
Responsible to diagnose and treat problems with patients' teeth, gums, and related parts of the mouth. They provide advice and instruction on taking care of the teeth and gums and on diet choices that affect oral health. Duties include: Remove decay from teeth and fill cavities; Repair or remove damaged teeth; Place sealants or whitening agents on teeth; Administer anesthetics to keep patients from feeling pain during procedures; Prescribe antibiotics or other medications;
Examine x rays of teeth, gums, the jaw, and nearby areas in order to diagnose problems; Make models and measurements for dental appliances , such as dentures; Teach patients about diets, flossing, the use of fluoride , and other aspects of dental care
Experience: Minimum of 1year Clinical Experience
Education/ License: Dentists must hold a current state license. Candidate must have a DDS or
DMD degree from an accredited dental program and pass the written exam by the National
Board of Dental Examinations. Dentists who wants to practice in a dental specialty must have a license in that specialty.

SIN 620-030 Physician Assistant
The physician assistant functions under the supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician and must be competent to, elicit a comprehensive health history, perform physical examinations, interpret and evaluate diagnostic data, establish basic treatment plans, counsel and educate patients, respond to commonly encountered emergency care situations.
Education/License: Candidate must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and hold a current state license.

SIN 620-033 Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant provides assistance to the dentist by receiving and preparing patients for dental treatment, preparing materials and equipment for use by the dentist, assisting dentist at chair-side or bedside in the treatment of patients, taking dental radiographs and maintaining records related to appointments, examinations, treatment and supplies. This person may work in general dentistry or in a specialized field of dentistry such as prosthodontics or oral surgery.
Experience: Minimum 1 year Experience
Education/License: Current DANB CDA certification or certification from another national credentialing organization recognized by the American Dental Association

SIN 620-033 Registered Dental Hygienist
Under the direct supervision of a dentist, the Dental Hygienist cleans calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums, using dental instruments . This employee feels lymph nodes under patient's chin to detect swelling or tenderness that could indicate presence of oral cancer, feels and visually examines gums for signs of disease, may provide clinical services and health education to improve oral health and dental care.
Experience: Minimum 1 year Experience
Education/License: Completed a CODA Accredited Dental Hygiene Education Program, Hold a current Dental Hygiene state license.

SIN 620-038 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse and a Physician, LPNs may administer some medication, take blood and other samples for testing, take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation and heart rate), monitor catheters, and dress and suture wounds. LPNs perform routine nursing duties, maintain patient records, and perform basic clerical duties.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution; valid nursing license
SIN 620-039 Medical Assistant (MA)
Responsible for medical billing, scheduling appointment, filing insurance claims, bookkeeping, preparing exam rooms, explaining medical procedures to patients, taking vital signs, recording patients' medical history, instructing patients about medications and special diets, assisting physicians during patient exams, scheduling appointments, and general office duties as needed.
Education: Certification from accredited Medical Assistant training program
SIN 620-046 Research Assistant
Participate in the design, administration and monitoring of clinical trials. Analyze and evaluate clinical data gathered during research. RA's must ensure compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives. Duties include: Compile research documents; Hold focus groups and document the results; Perform data entry and manage research databases.
Prepare programs for data entry and statistical analysis; Deliver surveys and calculate results.
Follow up on studies that have been conducted; Assist in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation; Conduct routine and standardized experiments in a controlled setting.
Education/License: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of Research
SIN 620-046 Clinical Research Coordinator
Participates in or leads day-to-day operations of clinical research studies conducted by a principal investigator. Performs a variety of duties involved in the collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of clinical research data. May direct the work and/or train junior staff. Independently coordinates conducts and documents study assessments according to study protocol, operational plans of clinical departments and Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) for all types of studies. Ensures compliance with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies. Collects, prepares, processes, ships, and maintains accurate inventory of research specimens. Collects data from patient medical records, interviews, questionnaires, diagnostic tests and other sources. Reviews current literature to obtain information relevant to clinical research program, as directed.
Experience: Minimum 1Year Experience
Education/License: BA/BS degree in a science, technical, health-related field in the applicable discipline .
SIN 620-046 Scientist
Research Scientists are responsible for designing, undertaking and analyzing information from controlled lab-based investigations, experiments and trials
Responsibilities include: Planning and conducting experiments, recording and analyzing data, carrying out field work, presenting results, writing research papers reviews and summaries, supervising and teaching junior staff, organizing and ordering tools, equipment and materials.
Preparing research proposals and grants. Ensuring safety and protocols are met.
Education/License: BA/BS degree in a science, technical, health-related field in the applicable discipline .
SIN 620-046 Histotechnologist
Responsible for performing technical duties in preparation of surgical, autopsy and cytology specimens for microscopic examination. Duties may include: Receive and accession tissue and cytology specimens and prepare specimens for processing; Cut and stain according to established procedures for routine, special stains, immunohistochemistry and coverslip and label finished slides for the pathologists review; Assist the pathologist; Maintain equipment, instruments and working area; Label and storage of chemicals and specimens (and disposal of same); Prepare written documentation as required by regulatory agencies, the profession and the Facility.
Education/License: Bachelor's Degree in Histotechnology and/or hold a certification from the
American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ACCP)

SIN 620-046 Research Associate IV
Performs and/or coordinates a wide range of laboratory research procedures and conducts a variety of complex support tasks and projects determined by the field and scope of the particular research study. Performs a variety of laboratory techniques independently, reporting results to supervisor or other lab personnel. Assumes a high level of responsibility for independent judgment concerning future experiments depending upon results. Typical Duties include: Coordinates multiple aspects of research project and carries out laboratory experiments; Collaborates with other lab members on experimental design, setting up protocols and developing new laboratory techniques; Processes, organizes, summarizes, and analyzes data; Trains and oversees the work of others in laboratory techniques and procedures; Assists with laboratory maintenance.

Responsible for advocating for clients, educating clients and teaching them new skills; linking clients to essential resources within the community; counseling clients who need support and assistance; protecting vulnerable clients and ensuring that their best interests are observed;

SIN 620-025 Registered Nurse - Researcher (Only)
Typical duties may include maintaining accurate, detailed reports and records; monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms and changes in patients' conditions; recording patients' medication information and vital signs; modifying patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' conditions; consulting and coordinating with health care members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans; ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' condition per physician's orders..
