QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Could you clarify Line 0007 on the Price Schedule? “Dock to Dock (Specialized Handling)” In our experience, “dock-to-dock” means one thing but “specialized handling” means something different. Could you please clarify what the VA is asking for?
Sorry for any confusion regarding line 0007. The facility is requesting “Dock to Dock” delivery option. However, we wanted to recognize this type of option could also be labeled/charged as “Specialized Handling” by some vendors. To clarify, the VA is asking for “Dock to Dock” delivery option. We do recognize some may include this option within the product pricing so there may not be a separate priced line for delivery.
2. Will the time frame be extend for special order items?
The delivery timeframe can always be extended to account for any excusable delays related to specific supplies.
