VA Response. 90 days

VA Response. All day on weekends, or until work is complete. We try to avoid scheduling work that cannot be completed for the shutdown.

VA Response. Contractor should have contacts for related parts and availability. VA and the contractor shall work to come up with a solution to remedy the problem.

7. How much notice will the contractor receive before an outage is scheduled?

VA Response. The contractor will coordinate shut-downs with the COR no less than 2 weeks days prior to the shut-down.

VA Response. The contractor will coordinate shut-downs with the COR no less than 2 weeks prior to the shut-down.

13. Do you have a certain number of total outages in mind to complete the contract within 3 months?

VA Response. As many as required to perform the required work, but fewer number shut-downs would be preferable.

15. Please confirm that the VA will perform switching, and the contractor will perform LOTO

(lock out tag out)

VA Response. Correct. The contractor shall confirm it is safe to energize before the VA closes any circuits after contractor maintenance and testing is complete.
