1. Can the 12 Experiences be done at three locations in District 5, that is 4 experiences at three different sites?

RESPONSE: NO, One event per state

2. Can four of the Experiences be conducted outside of District 5?

RESPONSE: NO

3. Could you please tell me if the Pre-solicitation posted as solicitation number 36C26219R0138 on FBO contains requirements similar to any work performed currently or in the past, or will this be a new requirement?

RESPONSE: New Requirement

4. If possible, can you please provide the most recent contract or task order number?

5. Would like to understand the process and timeline of how the contracting office decides on a certain vendor to fulfill the contract described in the announcement.

6. The specifics of the program you are looking for and how Contractor is capable of creating impactful trips for veterans.

7. Will the 12 events a year once a month exercise run simultaneously so they can attend any event.

RESPONSE: NO

8. Will the events be one at a time once a month. Weekend or week day- fly in Thur, event Friday and Saturday, fly out Sunday?

RESPONSE: Yes, correct

9. Does the events have to be all in California?

RESPONSE: NO.

10. Can they be in Arizona , Neveda, Texas, Oregon and Washington State?

11. What type of events hiking experience, outdoors, water, skiing, water rafting, kayaking, family oriented, family building?

RESPONSE: Reference Page 12 of 60, line item 6. OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE EVENT PROGRAM REQUIRMENTS paragraphs A and B.

12. Does food and snacks, lunch, need to be incorporated into the events RESPONSE: Reference Page 13 of 60, line item 7. LOGISTICAL RESPONSIBILITES OF THE CONTRACTOR paragraph G.

13. What the medical or allergy condition would the event planner has to know for each veteran. What level of physican or EMT will be needed for these event.

RESPONSE: The Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and RCS Staff will communicate this information after contract has been awarded and before the start of each event.

14. Request the Government please confirm or clarify that the Government desires that the Contractor provide a minimum of three (3) event locations in each of the twelve (12) states listed for a minimum total of thirty-six (36) potential event locations per year and that the Government will select only one (1) event location per contract year for each of the twelve (12) states listed.

RESPONSE: Page 14 of 60, CONTRACTOR DELIVERABLES 9.B. Delete paragraph 9.B. in it’s entirely.

Delete the following sentence right after 9.B. in it’s entirely.

Contractors may offer more than three locations to fit the requirement to allow for better selection opportunities, but this is not required.

15. Request the Government please confirm or clarify that the Contractor is responsible for the initial air travel costs for each Veteran participant from his/her home airport to the destination airport with the Government reimbursing the Contractor for the air travel after each monthly event and that these costs SHOULD NOT be included in the line item price schedule for each event?

RESPONSE: Page 4 of 60, SCHEDULE OF SERVICES AND PRICES, Delete the following sentence in it’s entirely: Price for the transportation shall be incorporated into the line item price.

Page 14 of 60, CONTRACTOR DELIVERABLES paragraph 9 C. Contractor is responsible for Transportation costs from the participant’s home airport to the designated closest outdoor experience location airport AND to the outdoor experience facility and return travel from the outdoor experience facility to the participant’s local airport.

Correct, Transportation Costs for each event will be reimbursed directly by the Government at the exact cost and will be coordinated and pre-approved with the COR. Cost SHOULD NOT be included in the line item price schedule for each event.

16. PROVIDE CLARIFICATION TO FACTOR 2 – EVENTS.
