Questions pertaining to combined/synopsis RFP 36C26219R0122
Q1: Is this an onsite only Contract?
A1: Yes, instruments are not to leave the facility. Vendor shall perform services on-site using vendor owned service equipment. Historically, vendors have performed this service in vendor owned service vans.
Q2: Is a list of the instruments available?
A2: Yes, in the form of count sheets. Vendor shall receive the count sheets as needed for services.
Q3: A complete inventory is requested. How many days do you anticipate that taking to complete?
A3: Normally the inventory is complete within hours. It is a joint inventory with the vendor and the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Department and is in electronic format.
Q4: The SOW states that pneumatic orthopedic instruments are included. Could I get a list of what and how many? These are typically repaired offsite.
A4: The Performance Work Statement (PWS) language referencing Pneumatic Orthopedic Instruments is for contingency purposes only in case the facility acquires pneumatic instruments. Currently there are none of these on hand. Historically, vendors have maintained a limited service capability on-site, if needed.
