B.2 ITEM INFORMATION
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide OPERATING ROOM TABLES that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics with a brand name or equal product for the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHS):
BRAND NAME INFO – Hill-Rom Company, Inc. (DBA Trumpf Medical)
1. TruSystem 7000dV Surgical Tables Standard Package
2. dV SmartCare Protection + two (2) year comprehensive service coverage
3. Advanced Robotics Positioning Package
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
1. Intelligent sensor technology alerts the user when the table or patient is in a compromising position, reducing the risk of tipping or falling in extreme positions — ideal for bariatric patients weighing up to 1,000 lbs/450 kg.
1. Anti-collision protection in the standard configuration, the OR table top will not collide with the floor or base of the table, even in extreme Trendelenburg positions.
1. The emergency override unlocks the table in case of power interruption, allowing the patient and table to be moved quickly and safely.
1. Double-layer visco-elastic pads help to reduce pressure in vulnerable areas.
1. The synchronized leveling system safely and anatomically returns all articulated components to level position — improving patient comfort easily and efficiently.
1. Low-friction, dual casters improve mobility and a fifth wheel allows you to maneuver the patient safely when transporting or reorienting the table for specific procedures.
1. Designed to permit under-the-base foot access, optimizes surgical team ergonomics and provides exceptional patient access.
1. Extremely low and high working positions:
7. 1,000 lb(450 kg) patient weight capacity
7. ±45° Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg
7. ±30° tilt
1. 18"(46 cm) of longitudinal shift for a maximum radiolucent area
1. Double-joint adjustment of headrest
1. Minimal table set-up between procedures
1. X-Ray channel for full body fixed imaging
1. Ergonomic Y-shaped base allows for greater access during GYN and urology procedures
1. The Surgical Table must work with integrated table motion and be compatible with the existing da Vinci Xi® Surgical System from Intuitive Surgical.
1. The integrated table motion must enable the da Vinci Xi® Surgical System to connect to the Surgical Table so that a patient can be dynamically positioned while the surgeon operates. The ability to reposition the table allows for optimal exposure and access to the target anatomy. This helps to increase efficiency and better manage the patient during robotic-assisted procedures.

4. Any quotation received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of quotations is late and will not be considered unless it is received before award is made and the Contracting Officer determines that accepting the late quotation would not unduly delay the acquisition.

If an emergency or unanticipated event interrupts normal Government processes so that quotations cannot be received at the Government office designated for receipt of quotations by the exact time specified in the solicitation, and urgent Government requirements preclude amendment of the solicitation or other notice of an extension of the closing date, the time specified for receipt of quotations will be deemed to be extended to the same time of day specified in the solicitation on the first work day on which normal Government processes resume.
