COMBINED SYNOPSIS
36C26218Q0462 Q & A
1. Is this a new or existing requirement, and if this is an existing requirement, can you please provide the name of the incumbent contractor, the contract number and dollar value of the contract?
· There is no incumbent for this project
2. Will any of these workers require logical or physical access to VA information systems, as described on page 4 of the RFQ?
· This is depended on the facility, there may be times the temporary employee may need to input information, update status of services in the log. If access is required the Contractor will be notified.
3. Section 6.0 states the temporary personnel should bear the licenses and certifications required to perform the work, but Section E, Solicitation provisions, item number 5 on page 30 states "offeror should submit...a valid and current copy of Offeror's OSHA [sic], provide a valid and current copy of Offeror's permits in all states services are rendered..., etc.," presumably at time of bid. Typically in a Temporary Services contract like this one, the personnel bear the licenses and certifications, not the company, and "permits" pertain to permissions for individual jobs/job sites, not the existence of a company. Can you please clarify the documentation required under Section E, Solicitation provisions, item number 5, including the time at which such documentation should be submitted (at time of bid versus after contract award)?
· Required documents should be in the name of the temporary employee and provided with the submission.
