DESCRIPTION
SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 6162 S. Willow Drive, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to solicit sources to enter into a firm-fixed price contract to provide collection, testing and mailing of water samples for Legionella Pneumophila obtained throughout the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) for the following VISN 19 locations:
Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC) Building H and Building K 1700 N. Wheeling St.
Aurora, CO 80045
Pueblo Community Living Center 2600 Oakshire Lane Pueblo, CO 81001
Valor Point Domiciliary 7350 W Eastman Place Lakewood, CO 80227
VA Medical Center Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Facility Building R 1700 N. Wheeling Street Aurora, CO 80045
VA Fisher House Building Q 1700 N. Wheeling Street Aurora, CO 80045
Four (4) Cooling Towers (06-CT-1, 06-CT-2, 06-CT-3, and 06-CT-4) Building L, Roof 1700 N. Wheeling Street Aurora, CO 80045
The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials and vehicles necessary for collection, testing and mailing of water samples for Legionella Pneumophila obtained throughout the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), as required by Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Directive 1061, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Elite Protocol, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and applicable standard methods of organizations such as, but not limited to, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Institute of Safety and Health (NIOSH) and National Environmental Methods Index (NEMI).
Proposals shall be 10 days after the issuance of the solicitation, and no later than 4:00 p.m. mountain time. The applicable NAICS code is 541380-Testing Laboratories and Services with a $19.0 million dollar size standard. This solicitation is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The solicitation reference is 36C25924Q0565–ECHCS Water Sampling/Testing Services Per the Statement of Work and should be referenced in all correspondence/ inquiries. The locations for services are stated above. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Contracting Opportunities (CO) website at www.betasam.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. Any amendments to this solicitation will be available at this website and offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to this solicitation at this website prior to the time of responding to the solicitation. Any questions pertaining to the solicitation must be provided to the contract specialist, in writing within 7 days of the posting of the solicitation, at Lindsey.Zwaagstra@va.gov and NCO19Lab@va.gov.
