• Complete Self-Contained battery operated mobile radiographic digital X-ray imaging system designed for performing radiographic exams at the point of care.

• New equipment must be a complete self-contained mobile radiographic system. Equipment must include but not limited to:

• Flash pad HD digital wireless detector o Rapid Readout o Low Noise Electronics o Ability to image bariatric patients (surface area and weight limits) o 14 x 17 detector area that is not excessive in weight

• Image Display Workstation o Touch screen monitor o Image annotation and measurement tools o Electronic Left/Right Markers o Multi-resolution post processing o Customizable image processing to match user preferences o Operational and Diagnostic Software based on secure operating system o Image optimization

• Key features o Compatible with digital wireless detectors o Digital wireless detectors batteries charge automatically while the detector(s) are in the bin regardless if the system is on or in standby mode.

o Digital wireless detectors may be shared across compatible systems within the healthcare facility by all users.

o Automatic safety brake o Integration of front bumper stop which activates brakes o Dose Area Product Meter (DAP) o 30KW generator o Capable of 100 – 240V nominal, 50/60Hz operation o System may be driven within 4 seconds of activation o Stand-by mode eliminates boot up cycles and allows the start of the imaging exam within 20 seconds.

o Exposures may be taken and processed while the unit is charging o Single integrated user interface for techniques, image acquisition and display tools.

o Drive inhibit keypad access o Password protected access to patient o Compliance with confidentiality regulations

• Patient Management o Detector Exposure Indicator – tool for detector dose feedback to ensure exposure is within normal limits per default protocol.

o Dose management package

• Emergency Patient Exam Capability o Allows complete imaging functionality without patient data, assigns a unique patient identifier, and allows merging of the patient information with the exam images.

• Image Display o Preview image within 30 seconds.

o Fully processed image within 45 seconds.

• Image Processing:

o Tissue Equalization to enhance contrast in under-penetrated or over-penetrated areas.

o Able to determine optimal brightness and contrast for image display o Image based cropping/shuttering tool that relies on image information to locate the collimator edges present in the image.

• Standard Network Capability o Ethernet Network Link – DICOM 3.0 o HIS/RIS work list system

• Quality Assurance Program with phantom

• Serviceability o Provide Telephone support, at minimum, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

o On-site service capabilities, at minimum, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

• Onsite training for all staff followed by onsite follow-up training within 6 months of system start-up, if needed based on the SVAHCS needs.
