Missouri, Suite 300 Phoenix AZ 85014 Michael Cordeiro michael.cordeiro@va.gov New Mexico VA Healthcare System Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordination Center 2401 Centre Ave, SE Albuquerque, NM 87106 The VA Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center (CSPCRPCC) located in Albuquerque, NM, is a highly secure site with a PECOS-CONTINUUM command and control system managing/integrating the onsite alarm, security, access control, and fire protection systems which include perimeter motion detectors, pan tilt zoom cameras, and intrusion detection equipment. Gate access is provided and controlled by security personnel. Employees are granted access to the facility and their workspaces using a sophisticated access control system that utilizes card access. A fire alarm system provides smoke and fire detection and emergency warning with voice-activated announcements. Zone alarms protect four individual areas of the site.

Due to the integrated nature of the systems, a single contractor is required to provide support. The support consists of routine scheduled maintenance, non-emergency maintenance, emergency maintenance, and off-site monitoring as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW). As part of the maintenance, the contractor will identify items requiring repair or upgrade/replacement. The contractor and CSPCRPCC shall review systems statuses to determine replacement/upgrade requirements This requirement is restricted to Small Business concerns ONLY. No other business size or category will be considered under this solicitation once published. The NAICS code is 561621. The subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in a commercial format in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 15 “Contracting By Negotiation,” using specified Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation procedures as detailed in the RFP. This solicitation will be issued on or about June 8, 2018, with an estimated proposal receipt date of June 22, 2018. These are NOT firm dates, so ensure you review this site regularly if interested. The exact date shall be stated on the SF 1449 upon issuance of the solicitation. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site listed at www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be furnished.
