Questions and Answers

1. Regarding page 10, SCOPE OF WORK, Title: It looks like the Garland and Grand Prairie sites were accidentally truncated from this section?

Yes, both Garland VAMC, 2300 Marie Curie Blvd, Garland, TX 75042 and Grand Prairie VA Clinic, 2737 Sherman St., Grand Prairie, TX 75051 were omitted from the Statement of Work: Door Maintenance, 1. Title.

2. Page 13, Performance period, currently says "Period of coverage is 1 March 2023 through 28 February January 2028 plus four (4) option years." Can the government please clarify the period of performance in this section?

Period of coverage is March 1, 2023 - February 28, 2024 plus (4) option years

3. Regarding page 20, section 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO

IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS—COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND

COMMERCIAL SERVICES (MAY 2022) (JUL 2020) (DEVIATION): Instead of the lower paid/less skilled Employee Class 23370 (general maintenance worker or laborer), would the government please consider replacing it with Employee Class 23510, Locksmith, as a locksmith is more skilled at maintaining security doors, locks, electrical lines, and electronic keypads/control panels than a general laborer is?

4. Regarding page 29, section E.2 52.212-1 ADDENDUM INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS— COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES (NOV 2021): If a contractor is not able to attend a site visit, is it still permissible for the contractor to bid on this RFQ?

5. Regarding page 29, section E.2 52.212-1 ADDENDUM INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS— COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES (NOV 2021): Will the government publish the meeting agenda, meeting minutes, and/or attendees list of any site visit events for access by those contractors that cannot make the site visit appointments in person?

6. No page, no section: Do our employees need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19) or do they need to show a clean COVID-19 test every week to gain entry into VA owned buildings?

No.
