The brand name or equal services being requested are for the maintenance and repair of Hologic ThinPrep equipment. Services will be conducted on equipment located at the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr., Temple, TX 76504.

The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition.

The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria are technical capability, past performance, and price. Under technical capability includes the ability to provide all of the requested items in accordance with the Statement of Work.

Offerors are to provide a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
