CONTINUATION PAGE

Please view ALL questions submitted & answers for the above requirement:

1. What will the ICRA level be for this project?

Level 1 is projected at this time. This could change depending on the situation on the ground at the time of the work.

1. What are the asbestos, hazardous material and lead abatement requirements associated with this project?

None, according to Safety.

1. Should we expect to remediate asbestos, hazardous material, or lead? If abatement is required, request that the VA provide the appropriate survey report.

No abatement or remediation required.

1. Will any of the work that we will be performing be required to be performed after normal working hours or on weekends?

All work is scheduled to be completed during normal business hours 0800-1730 daily. Any potential changes will be addressed as the need arises. Presently, there is no anticipation that changes will occur.

1. Page 8; Project Requirements; Item 3: "The Vendor shall be prepared to repair or replace any damaged drain pans". It was discussed in the site visit that the government wants to replace the drain pan with each cooling coil replacement. Can you confirm this is what is required?

The drain pans will only need to be addressed if they are damaged and can’t perform as required. They will need to be repaired if possible or replaced if they are beyond repair.

1. Page 10; Other Considerations; Item 3: "Majority of the work shall be performed during normal working hours unless otherwise noted by the COR or PM. Normal working hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday." It was determined in the site visit that due to the operations of the hospital and the need to shut systems down to change the cooling coils, that the work should be done afterhours. What times will the vendor be allowed to complete work?

All work is scheduled to be completed during normal business hours 0800-1730 daily. Any potential changes will be addressed as the need arises. Presently, there is no anticipation that changes will occur.
