The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to Petnet Solutions, Inc. 810 Innovation Dr. Knoxville, TN 37932-2562 for the procurement of a brand name Petnet Solutions, Inc. F-18 Axumin Fluciclovine service.

This order is for a brand name Petnet Solutions, Inc. F-18 Axumin Fluciclovine service, to be provided within 60 days of contract award, will be placed on a sole source basis with Petnet Solutions, Inc. as the following circumstance in FAR 13.106-1(b) applies: only one source is capable to provide the services required at the level of quality required because the brand name F-18 Axumin Fluciclovine supply is proprietary to Petnet Solutions, Inc. The Nuclear Medicine Department at the South Texas Veterans HCS currently utilizes PET / CT technology. The substitution of any other manufacturer other than brand name will not guarantee interoperability and cause duplication of cost to the Government.

Delivery schedule will be discussed prior to issuing the contract award.

The anticipated award date is October 19, 2018.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, that all responsible sources and interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting technical data for this requirement data within 14 calendar days of this notice posting (no later than October 12, 2018, by 08:00 AM CST, to Eddie Clark, via email at eddie.clark@va.gov which shall be considered by the agency. Please note that telephone calls will not be honored.
